2 weeks 2 days ago	Serious question: Isn't this good for us (and OSU)?	If Michigan (and OSU) can clean up in the midwest and nationally, does it matter that the rest of the conference doesn't recruit well? Seems to me that would mean regular high win seasons for UM/OSU, high rankings for those two, and decent performance in bowls against other conferences for those two. The only downsides I see are recruits wanting to play in a conference where they see more top competition leading to poorer recruiting classes for UM long term and perhaps a worse strength of schedule leaving a 1 loss team out of the playoffs. Thoughts?

I was under the impression that the B1G had some of the greatest working funds because of the B1G Network (even the ones who aren't good at football). Why would they be scared of spending that money in a way that could be advantageous?

Would they take three at that position if the two higher ranked prospects wanted to join the class at a later date (assuming a lower ranked prospect like Marshall joined sooner)?

1 year 10 weeks ago	Fumble problems	IIRC, didn't have have some problems fumbling the ball once he got into some more serious competition? Definitely excited for the kid to do well, but the coaches may want to work on his ball security before putting him out on the field consistently. Seems like a good candidate for a redshirt year - plus maybe then he could get one of those years of medical school out of it.
1 year 11 weeks ago	Uh... We won.	Is the best response. Also, the defense kept us in that game, no question. BUT, I think the biggest takeaway here is that I don't know how we did in the Sugar Bowl either - I've never seen a UFR on it!

1 year 14 weeks ago	Great post, but I have a question...	Do you have any more info on what "mixed signals" means with regard to the WR? There seems to be a lot of general disgust with how Urban is recruiting, but I haven't heard much in the way of specific awful behavior.
1 year 16 weeks ago	I heard that too	but from what I understand, it's not uncommon to have multiple players who can step into the center spot should something unfortunate happen.

1 year 17 weeks ago	The Mathlete admits this	He says that strong quarterback seasons are often paired with strong rushing attacks, but that quarterbacks still provide more expected value to their teams. I think it would be interesting to do an analysis of quarterback's EV independent of rushing EV, and vice versa. Would it be possible to estimate this?
