I, for one, welcome the new audio techniuqes that our Mgoblog overlords insist on producing.

Why didn't you predict the most important thing of all?
WHO WILL HIT HARDER?!!

I gotta think that the coaches are up front about this scenario happening when the kid commits. As we saw with some of our late decommits last year: the time they were committed helped raise their profile. The only thing that sucks with this is the legacy aspect. I wish legacies could have scholarships that didn't count against the 85 limit.

I'm just guessing that maybe Scott Frost looks like the guy from Breaking Bad, last season, who shot the kid on his motorbike before Walt and Jessie could stop him.

Rewatching these highlights reminds me that Speight is no Navarre. Meaning, he's way more mobile on his legs. The both of his scampers show some decent speed there. No jukes, but the ability to get to the sideline or edge with some straightline speed is just enough to keep some defenses honest and pick up a few 1st downs when the situations presents.

I just watched the highlight video and he shot 100%. That's pretty good, I think. I hope he can do that in college or at least shoot in the 80s.

Sheet throw is also supremely underrated because he HITS THE REF IN THE BACK WITH A BEHIND THE BACK THROW! Am I the only one who think's that's impossible and subconsiously genius on Harbaugh's part for hitting a ref he's mad at?

More so than most things you measure coaching by. They call the plays and the defenses and this puts a number on that, though it's arbitrary, I trust the source enough to put weight in it.

Lewis and Stribling are the same class, I believe. So we could lose them both and Peppers next year. That's kinda scary.

Agree with gpsimms. So many 1st downs lost or potential long plays. I can't tell if the injuries prevented him from blocking but my gut says "no". OTOH, I'd be mad at Hoke if I was him as not informing people of the injury cast such a negative perception that it could hurt his draft stock.
|1 year 32 weeks ago||Agreed.||
This is the best thing you're written for MGoBlog so far. Keep it up! I enjoyed the draft take on player's abilities and how they stacked up to past players. The Yogi/Trey comparison truly makes you realize how far Trey came in two years and how lucky we were to watch that unfold.
