| 4 weeks 5 days ago | From the article: Beginning |
From the article: Beginning in 2014, Notre Dame will be eligible to be selected for any ACC bowl as long as its overall record is within one of the bowl-eligible ACC schools. For example, an 8-4 Notre Dame could not be selected over a 10-2 ACC team, but could be selected over a 9-3 or worse ACC team. So the ACC pretty much screwed themselves. First they pile up losses when playing ND and because of that ND gets picked by a bowl over an ACC team. |

A 7-5 now would piss me off more than a 3-9 under RR. |

They are voting for a 9 game schedule starting 2016 and not 2014. |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | OK = NO AAU = No B1GKU = B12 |
OK = NO AAU = No B1G KU = B12 = GoR = No B1G Vandy = SEC = NO GoR and no Exit Fee = Maybe B1G Mizzou = SEC = NO GoR and no Exit Fee = Maybe B1G

| 8 weeks 1 day ago | Mizzou might, but Vandy |
Mizzou might, but Vandy is probably a total longshot. Since the SEC is the only major conference without an exit fee or with a GoR, I don't think its a pipe dream. It's the most inexpensive way to get AAU members into the conference. I think it will happen now or never, since the GoR of the ACC will make the SEC think about one very hard. "As a sidenote, two sources have told The World-Herald that the Big Ten has done prior “homework” on Oklahoma, Kansas and Vanderbilt among other schools who might some day be expansion targets." http://sports.omaha.com/2013/04/22/realignment-expansion-not-out-of-the-question/#.UXad4Urtrle |
| 8 weeks 1 day ago | Mizzou and Vandy |
This means Mizzou and Vandy to the B1G, both going to the West and Purdue gets moved to the East. Split the whole B1G according to timezones and also loose the last protected rivalery. |

I don't think UNC will join as #15 or #16. They might as #17 or #18 if other ACC-teams joined before them. |

| 17 weeks 6 days ago | Just an offer |
This is false information. Kentucky merely offered him. If he's serious about playing football instead of basketball, he isn't going there. |
| 18 weeks 6 hours ago | For the sake of playing as |
For the sake of playing as many B1G teams as possible, they should loose the protected rivalries. If Sparty wants to bolt for the West, they better not expect to play us every year. |

| 20 weeks 4 days ago | What I don't get : |
What I don't get : There are 125 FBS football members. Four superconferences with up to 20 members each and a guaranteed spot in a four team playoff for the FBS football champion will leave a minimum of 45 teams without a chance to become the FBS football champion. If that doesn't sound like a lawsuit just waiting to happen I don't know what does. How are they going to deal with this? The highest ranked non-superconference team takes the spot of the worst ranked superconference champion if it's ranked higher than that champion? Thoughts? |

I'd prefer East - West Divisions for the above reasons as well. |
| 28 weeks 1 day ago | Since growing to 16 schools seems inevitable |
Why not do the whole thing with two more schools and pick between Kansas , Georgia Tech, Virginia and North Carolina? |
| 29 weeks 6 days ago | Better think it through with 16 teams |
I somehow think that we never have to deal with 14 teams since the B1G will poach two more teams to join at the same time as Rutgers and Maryland. |

First of all, as a European and as a guy that follows the Tigers very, very closely: I despise your thread title ;-) That set aside: Just tell the guy this is your Córdoba*. Nuff said, he will let you go, trust me. Mick * http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_of_Cordoba
