I'd love to see some of our Wolverines up here in the CFL. I know it doesn't sound glamorous but i would sure love it now that Norfleet has signed up here!
I've read all the rants but I really appreciate seeing those who wish the kid well in his endeavors. Now let's focus on the other priorities to build on one heck of an awesome first season. Harbaugh.
I would be very very happy right now. Ie."Phew! I might have some of the best pass protection in the country". I'm sure the RB commits are pretty happy too!!!
I wish we wouldn't get so hung up on commitments now versus getting some big time recruits later in the cycle. Let the coaches develop the rapport with the student-athletes and concentrate on winning games in the fall. The commits will follow soon after.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. I feel great disappointment for this young man because I think he was lied to. Oh well, screw it. Harbaugh.
If I were Weber, I wouldn't see Kareem Walker's commitment as a good thing for playing time at Ohio State in the future. Particularly if Elliott is there now.
But I consider myself a Michigan fan even though I didn't attend U of M and I live in Canada. I remember watching Wangler to AC against Indiana as a child and I was hooked. I love the winged helmet, the Big House, the Victors, and everything Michigan. If that makes me a Walmart Wolverine, I don't care. I know what I love and quite simply...Go Blue!
that family will play a critical role for Malik and that he will Go Blue. Ultimately these kids have lots of temptation in front of them and with Malik taking his time for commitment I am hopeful that academics is an important variable in his decision making.
We should be encouraged when these young men reflect on their decision and realize that A2 is the better destination. Plus when your couch is at risk in EL, I'd be worried!
This purely based on ego and the number of Catholics that identify with ND. (As an aside, I'm Catholic and I hate ND). They may produce some good individual players but would never understand The Team, The Team, The Team.
further reinforce the importance of our student-athletes having character and integrity. That's why I don't overreact when I hear of us dropping a highly ranked recruit because of academics or character flaws. Must say kudos to Hoke et al. for a job well done so far!
I don't know if anyone else is as excited as I am for the start of the season! The changes in numbers only amplifies that excitement further. I can't wait to watch Derrick Green (the thinker) dominate!
