The older you get the more these things hurt. You know how fleeting these moments are. When you are young you feel immortal and view these moments as ever possible.
Stay young at heart, stay immortal in thoughts and stay immortal in a belief of the biggest dreams....and stay forever BLUE.
I've had to watch Kansas all year. Withey has a 1 foot halo around him. You can't breath on him without getting called and he hacks all day. It reminds me of Zeller this year or Griffin a few years ago when we played Oklahoma.
I want Kansas to exit early every year. I like our matchups with UNC.
It is Phillips. It always will be. We are talking like 13 bucks a gallon. Of all the vodka I have been through since The Bomb, The Extra Seconds in EL, The Horror (I and II), The RR Years, The Timeout, The Multi OTs in Fort Wayne, etc...Tis the only quaff that doesn't make me pay twice for twice the price.
Hey, Thursday night here. Stuck at home in a snow storm. Plenty of vodka and snacks. Yeah, I watched the second half of the Penn St. vs. Illinois game. That counts yeah?
Stuck at home in snow and drunk and I watched the second half of the PSU/IU game. Gotta count for something.
I just find myself dreaming about the dish out to Novak and that long beautiful, flowing three finds its way home. Then, as the dream continues, I get to see him attempt to take somebody's head off in efforts hault an opponents progress towards the basket.
One beer has to be consumed during and by the end of Kate Smith's "God Bless America"...Power Play means someone has to go PP (something good always happens when you are out of the room) and win or lose; the last game of the year results in beers poured on one another while "That's Life" plays ("riding high in April, shot down in May")...jersey to go unwashed until opening game next fall. I love hockey
Maybe but the first sign that Hoke is worth his salt will be his ability to coach to his players. There is no reason for Denard to leave. His skills are solid and packages can be made for him. Hoke will have to utilize what he has and recruit what he wants. Test number one, keeping Denard. Test number two, transforming the defense.
I found my way past the work computer security program. My wife will be proud when I am unemployed but the first on the block with an answer to who our new coach is!
When the defense does not know where to line up and blows assignments that is the defensive coordinator's fault. No matter what the scheme. If they do not tackle well, DC's fault.
Been a coach for a long time. I was told in the beginning, "either you allow your kids to make mistakes or you coach them that way." All I've heard is excuses. I don't want to hear about the labor, just show me the baby.
I'm tired of hearing about talent. That is a poor excuse when you don't teach your kids to be disciplined, where to line up, etc...
I am absolutely embarrassed. I've been a DC for 14 years and a coach for 17. How this GR has a job is beyond me. I would have chucked his ass at halftime of the Illinois game. If you are yelling at your kids to communicate in the 13th game of the season you suck as a coach.
There is your CC.
We enjoyed very much but yes, it would have been nice to get further down the tunnel. Should have been more talented then huh? Anyway, the whole experience lasted an hour and the workers there could not have been nicer. It was just a quick walk through of the locker room but plenty of time and room for pictures.
I just couldn't bring myself to step on the "M" though.
Miami fans were absolute pricks in our section. They do not want anything to do with us.
I have tickets for Sunday night but I have a 1 o'clock quarterly meeting Monday. 8 o'clock start sucks. Game, 8 hour drive home, meeting at one. GO BLUE!
Pep rally and fans were great. Refs made the game frustrating.
I would consume but lets just say, BigBum is not a state of mind. It is a reality. Those sizes don't cut it in my world. The hat is fine though...maybe.
I was honestly beginning to question my trip. I'm 8 hours one way, the Sunday game got moved to 8, supposed to be to work Monday morning, I do have a wife and 2 kids...
Then my cousin has a brilliant idea to stop in Chicago Friday on the way there and catch a Chicago/Texas AHL game thus cutting continuous drive time significantly and partying in Chicago. Then the pep rally is announced. Justification! Now I'm ready to F*** S*** Up!
I have two session passes at center ice about 15 rows up. I was just on ticketmaster and thought I'd see what was out there...
For the Michigan game there are some great seats left. On the glass, center ice (both sides), seriously good seats. If your on the fence, jump in.
My cousin and I are going to make the 8 hour trip (haven't done anything all winter) to Fort Wayne. I already have the tickets and hotel room. I've never been to a tourny game so I have to ask the most important question of my trip;
Do they sell beer at the games? Pleeeeeease say yes...
Congratulations on being able to enjoy it in person. It showed nicely on TV. Particularly at the conclusion. You really got a feel (just a feel mind you) for the frustration release and utter joy that the Michigan faithful was enjoying at the end. If only I had smell-o-vision.

Not Harbaugh.
No neg-bang. Great post. Looking up the shirts now.
Thank you. Go Blue!
Just breaks my heart to look at. That young man deserves better. They all do.

GO BLUE!!!
Scared.
At this rate......I was 16 the last time we experienced this, I could be 56 next time this comes around.
Hey, I'm reporting from central Iowa. It is quiet here as well. Do not take offense to the lack of responses.

Always Phillips. I was hoping to watch GoBlue all weekend...When we lost to Wisconsin I ran out of excuses not to remodel the bathroom.
UCLA dance ladies and Oregon cheerleaders. What are two things that keep me watching college basketball that I do not care about.
This thread is a trainwreck!
This is Michigan Fergodsakes.

"I've been around ya know."
"I'm giving you pearls here."
I have a rule that I never leave a game early. Never, ever. It comes from hockey, where you expect your team to fight if they can't win.
I had my finger on the trigger early in the second. I wanted to. But I will never leave the Team. The Team. The Team. The Team.
Go Blue.
Phillips! Neat...
We have to find a way to blow people out...I can't keep going through this. I'm too fat.
Bless the hard working beavers.
Been a HSFB coach for 18 years...I would love to find a returner whom had the jewels to be that relaxed before a return.
Bless that kid. Go Blue!!!
Hey kids get off of my lawn!!!
Who's making all that goddamn noise?!?!
Oh that's genious. We won't know until 2035. It'll be a generational thing.

Waiting for Sunday...
That, good friend, is absolutely hilarious. Wouldn't have thought The Woody to be uncut.
Bless You
This makes up for it....
Vodka and "Worlds Dumbest..."
I hate my life.
Been a fan for 30 years. This is making me sick.
Some way this will set me in a bad mood for the rest of the week. Unless....

Not a dream is it?
8 feet tall if he were an inch that man.....
"Undersized guys from Indiana who can shoot the three, revel in 'grit' and annoy my 4* athletes? Maybe there is something to it."
Pleather. I believe they are pleather.

I get that "gut feeling" as well after those damn tasty carnitas.
