The poster you're responding to had it right - you're wrong. While the US supreme court has ruled capital punishment constitutional, any state can make it illegal and Massachusettes is one of those. So, no, anyone cannot be executed for murder in Mass.
The WHY in a murder trial tends to be irrellevant unless the defense raises it to reduce to manslaughter (heat of passion, etc). The prosecution had so much evidence in this one - video, DNA, witnesses, etc, the case made itself.
And you don't even know what calculus is? Probably a safe bet you won't find yourself on the admission end of a UM transfer application. It's never too late to learn but given the fact you spend every waking moment on MgoBlog, the prospects ain't looking good.
Brian once called Osteen a "flaccid personal motivator" or some such thing in a thread a while back. Not sure I understand the hate for the guy given the fact that he does a lot of good for people who are having tough times.
Your generalization about what Michigan fans do is bullshit - now THAT I'll complain about. If you find things to bitch about even when times are good, that's you - not Michigan fans. Getting sick of those stupid overgeneralizations and lumping the rest of in your "we" bullshit.
Zordich sounds great.
Given the fact Winnipeg just rose from the dead, I'm not sure they're in a position to pay for "top level talent." Not saying Copp's not a great player but agree that top level is a bit much.
The twitter pic looks almost like a spoof. The colors of the "supplement" boxes look like they could be feminine hygiene products - and then contrast that with the tough guy douche look on Miller's (and who's the other guy?) face.
I saw that and thought, WTF are they trying to say with that inane statement? Apparently UM was charged with some sort of crime and used Jaylen as their alibi?
You understand, "playing with desire" doesn't just happen with some guys - even freaks of nature - yes? Funchess no doubt, always, "just could" beat guys with speed and size, etc. It takes a competent coaching staff to understand what each young guy needs in terms of focus and development. The prior staff had none of that and it showed in spades.
I never faulted Funchess for those areas where coaching failed him and that is what this was all about - - the failure of Funchess to realize his college potential is but a front-and-center example of the ineptitude of the coaching staff to help a guy who didn't already have it in him. Those guys who did succeed - Gallon, JMFR, et al were guys who were easy to coach b/c they had the focus and drive in every play where Funchess needed that coach to break him out. It is a tragedy that his pure talent, body control, and speed were all but wasted on Hoke and co.
60-26 at WV with 6 bowls (2 BCS) in 7 years. The RR hate likely won't change regardless of how he pans out at AZ. Bama wanted him in '06 which means they must have been delusional b/c he's a "terrible" coach.
Love when the backup can work a shutout late into the third - against the Penns no less. Mrazek's gonna rock the playoffs. Hope Babcock gives him the shot.
And even recently, during a family vacation at a resort, there were the two Harbaugh brothers, wrestling on the beach to decide who the tougher person was.
"That was crazy to me," senior corner Blake Countess said. "That they were still fighting as grown men."
My brother and I still get into scuffles and end up laughing ourselves to tears while the rest of the family watches in horror. Love to hear the Harbs share the same bond and deep competitive streak.
What the hell does that even mean and what purpose does it serve? Having "older" players around the younger would only benefit the teams, schools and league.
Jeezus - inbounding under pressure seems to be a struggle going on several years now. How is it opposing teams make our inbounds appear painful and turnover prone while simultaneously making their own seem effortless?
But the last thing many of us give two sh-ts about right now is how "the media" feel about Harbaugh's answers.
Would rather just enjoy the comedy of his short answers to stupid questions and not re-analyze the details of his trip thru San Fran or speculate how the delicate geniuses are going to deal with Harbaugh now that he's back home.

Guess you told him, prick.

Killed a man, rendered his own child basically fatherless, threw away a million dollar career - all because he was 'dissed by the guy.
The Boston.com story mentions how Hernandez had no issues until he arrived in Gainesville.
Begs the question how different his life trajectory would have been if he'd have stuck with his Connecticut commitment.
Should have slipped some actus reus in there though.

of him at the industrial park? I think that's what the issue was - don't deny what they already knew.
But for the victims' families, the "grand scheme" includes getting closure rather than the prosecutor saying, screw it he's in for life anyway.

I personally like the guy, so troll on.
That photo of Taco looks like he's about to pounce on a cowering white bunny in the endzone. NO MERCY!!
BTW, a housekeeping issue - Seth's answer is above the "The Responses" line.
Hope he's kicking some of those profits back to the MGo site.
How is it possible to freeze frame a closed caption? Those things change almost instantly. Seems unlikely.
...he wouldn't get the same attention as he does at the top of the thread. It's all about them upvotes.

Maybe Kengerski will grow on us but Karsch did a great job. Sorry to see him go.
I heard they also deal in diapers, chips and those long matchsticks.

In hindsight, Hoke giving Funchess the #1 was akin to his mindless clapping on the sideline.

All empty calories
I knew my life was missing something.
Is that a BMD?
Is that where the dirty laundry goes?
That's what I was thinking.

Witnessed some of that Poopball. Shoulda known....
Redshirts are a case-specific thing - sometimes good, sometimes bad, depends on the player and the scenario in which they're used.
This was awesome:

Don't mean to rain on the parade here but Isn't a slurpee just a cup of frozen soda ("pop" if you're old school)?
Seems it was not much fun to be sober from '66 - '70 so that would explain it.

Apparently, Cal schools have been capping the number of in-state admissions so as to load up on the OOS big dollars.

Also great vision in setting up his angles and getting defenders turned around.
Try this....how much is mom and dad kicking down to you with their refund, if any, this year?
Which means I'm doing my patriotic duty (cough) and paying a little more into the federal slush fund.

Clash of Cans?
Q: When do you want to have a tentative depth chart? At the end of spring or later?
Harbs: “Uh…do you need one at some point? When would you like to have one?”
Q: We’d like to have one today if you have that ready.
Harbs: “We don’t have that list in front of us right now. Check MGoBlog - they'll have it posted tonite. ”
Handing wrenches and beers. Best of times.
