He's had a different look every year. He's had a different name every year.

Say hello to the new and improved Z/X

Glad we have a senior PG to help with this transition. Alot of new coaches don't get that luxury.

"Much of a living" is all relative but there's no shortage of places where a solid college player can make $10-20k/month often with cost of living covered as well.

Even if you don't get the six figures role players usually get in the top leagues (or if they're willing to go to China) making $70k+ with a comp'd villa in Greece or Italy is a pretty cool life for 7-8 months of work in your early 20s.

He's gotta find a team that's willing to make him their main PG and run the offense through him. He is one of the best in the country at PnR. But he can't do much else on the offensive end. His defense, as we know, is elite.

I doubt he has a long professional career. I would love to be proven wrong. But he just screams "coach" to me

I can't wait for b-ball season. no expectations -- just go out there and ball. will be a lot of fun no matter what the record ends up being (and hopefully it ends up being pretty good)!

Had we not turned the ball over 4 freaking times, it actually would have been a much closer game, we may had even been in it which we didn't deserve to be.

I saw it as nothing but a flaming mess before the season even started.

I wasn't delusional into thinking we were a playoff team with neither offensive nor defensive lines however.

Whenever our football team has been hot garbage (which is alot) its always the hoops squad that lifts the M on their shoulders. Hopefully the same happens this year

As long as the A/TO ratio is great, that hook has turned lethal, and the leadership is where we all expect it to be, I don't care if he's copying the hairstyle of my neighbor's six year old girl.

Really curious to see how the team performs this year. I don't have any kind of lofty expectations, but the team has got plenty of guys playing on it who have won more than their fair share of basketball games, so I'd like to think making the tournament is still very much a realistic (dare I even say expected) goal for this team. Got a few experienced leaders on this team who should be able to help the team weather the transition.

Beyond that, all I can really ask for is to see week-to-week improvement, and that by the time they get into the meat of the conference schedule, the team looks like its forming an identity for what it wants to do on both ends of the floor. If they make the tournament, maybe score an upset or two along the way in the regular season, then everything else is just gravy.

There are few things in life I hate more than this hair style but I’m a 40 year old white guy and he is a 20 year old college basketball player so wth do I know.

Love his game though! Go blue!

Yeah, let’s create a thread that invites middle-aged white dudes to provide their unsolicited comments on the looks and fashion choices of a 20-year-old black college student.

That’s a good idea.
