Worst game plan I have ever seen.

That's not to say Urban wanted to lose. Certainly his players did not! But the playcalling was mystifyingly atrocious. It may not have been intentional, but MSU got another gift there.

We're all a little bitter right now.

Speak for yourself. I'll never feel bitter about any day where Michigan wins and Ohio State loses.

The shock wears off eventually. You kind of get numb to the nastiness here after a while.

BTW, off topic in terms of this thread...
But in Franklin's post game presser, he said that Michigan was starting 18 seniors..........
Not sure how he got to that number. But it's a good thing to say after a loss.

Alright. I can just imagine him huddling with his assistants in his office real quick after the game coming up with things to say:
Assistant: "Uh....1-2-3-4....let's count the RS Juniors....18!"
Franklin: "Bingo! Let's go!"

I was actually talking with Steve Lorenz about this.
We both think that MGoBlue removing the redshirt year citation on the roster online and the roster STILL not being updated (still the same heights and weights from August), is a tactic to screw with the opponent.
It obviously has fooled James Franklin, as that's not how many seniors we're playing. It really wouldn't surprise me given how detailed Harbaugh is.
It's quite odd that Football is the only roster on MGoBlue that doesn't have the RS citation on it and still has yet to be updated in terms of heighs and weights.

But if I remember right, it's something Harbaugh inherited there. I think it had started the year before he arrived.
I don't think I've seen it anywhere but Stanford and Michigan...except the service academies, where it obviously makes sense because nobody gets a fifth year.

I guess they'll be surprised next year when they see most of the starters are back.

He's got to make up something because He's becoming the Penn State version of Brady Hoke real fast, John donovan is his Al Borges and Shoop is his coach Mattison.

Even on D it was ridiculous. Why not load the box and make the babes in the woods beat you through the air in a driving rain?
O was painful to watch but understandable with the weather, but Fickel, what the hell was he thinking?
Meanwhile, anyone within 60 miles of shit town, put a leash and a lot of fire retardant on your couches.

Just got off of Hineygate and they agree that the OC has to go
its a real stunner for them- a replay of the OSU/MSU Big Ten CG
November 21st, 2015 at 11:10 PM ^
They literally threw the ball thrice in the second half.
Even though a 3-win Nebraska team carved them up and RUTGERZ scored 3 deep TDs on them.
November 21st, 2015 at 11:10 PM ^
I'm calling it now. It'll be that ugly midseason game that they snuck by midseason and we all say "they're not that good"...and PSU will pull it out late.
The only reason people have given up is because MSU beat OSU and we beat PSU.
But if this game was 4 games ago, there would be a ton of people thinking PSU had a shot.

OSU is going to break it wide open next week. With our luck, they will learn from the loss and completely change the game plan.

Just kidding -
Yes, we have won all the away B1G games. This has been a fantastic season. If it was not that flukest of all mother flukes Harbaugh is going to take the team to Indy and CFP.
November 21st, 2015 at 11:18 PM ^
It honestly looked like OSU was trying to lose the game. It's unfathomable that an OSU team with that much talent could gain 5 first downs.
November 21st, 2015 at 11:18 PM ^
OSU had 50 recruits visiting.

I know everyone is upset that Ohio State lost, but keep in mind Ohio State lost.
Our playoff shot is down to 1/20 maybe? Even if we win and Sparty loses, our win won't have the juice we hoped it would. I wanted in but so be it.
We can still beat the Buckeyes, get 10 wins, and have a hell of a first Harbaugh year when 7.5 was the over under. Remember were we were last year at this time?

when M beats OSU on Saturday, the whole world will just say 'oh, they beat a team that is not as good as the taltent level due to enttitled and selfish players, where Meyer lost the locker room.'
Would have been better for OSU to squeak my MSU, and they have Michigan expose OSU as a fraud.
That said, beat OSU!
November 22nd, 2015 at 7:43 AM ^
we were 5 and 7 last year and if you told me last February that we would be 9-2 going into The Game, I wouldn't have believed you.
Sure it sucks not to beat Ohno at home, and do a "Bo" on them again. But I can live with that.
Seeing them shit the bed on national television is sweet. Reading their idiot buckeye looser nation comments last night and today has been bliss!
They have nothing to play for, Michigan has plenty of unfinished business.
Time to get to work!
