Wisky Game Thread…better late than never

Seems like bad luck not to have a game thread for the first game back in action.

Just keep it within 5 at half. Regroup in the locker room, should be able to get a W. Eliminating Trice is big. Can’t see Ford carrying them. Just need to keep getting solid looks on O.

I think my fandom is a little rusty as well. This block jaw'd fellow for Wisconsin who is always complaining.......was he always on the floor or is he a minecraft character?

O is out of sink, the D with some breakdowns in last 3-4 minutes. Big last few minutes before half, can’t let this get away from them.

Extremely rusty on both ends. If they can’t turn things around after the break, it’s gonna get away from them. Turns out shutting down a team for 2 weeks despite 0 positive cases might derail a once very promising season! Who knew?

fortunately wisconsin is only making 71.4% of their 3's and 61% overall.

don't all teams shot at least that well or better?

They're hitting the open shots they missed the first time we played them, along with some really tough, contested shots. Not much you can do about that.

The state health dept will always be conservative when it comes to making recommendations. It's 100% on the Michigan AD for letting an idiot go to the UK and bring back COVID without isolating protocols in place. Then to over-compensate for the stupidity and kill its own team's momentum.

Pure University of Michigan getting in its way.

Health department put them in that situation.  If the university openly ignores the recommendations and someone gets seriously ill (or worse), they get sued.  The health department was irresponsible in adjusting their response to the actual facts on the ground.
