Who is even worse than NFL Reporters? Colin Cowherd that's who

Submitted by Bo Schemheckler on

On his show today CC still has the nuts to say that he's "not wrong yet" and that "3 NFL teams are going to make a push for him today". Definition of clown

Actually, Cowherd admitted he was "wrong" about the Harbaugh to Michigan story in his weekly "Colin was right/Colin was wrong" segment.  He threw in the towel.  I hate him and he is a jerk off, however, he finally admitted defeat.

This is his schtick.

It gets people to listen to his crappy show. Also, it's not like he has to held accountable for any of this garbage.

I do agree with you though, he is a clown.

Of course teams will make an attempt. Until everyone knows papers are signed, nothing is final. Why wouldn't they try to get the best available coach to change his mind?

Any attention you give to him, he wins.  I seriously have never heard of him other than that chick from Bama who calls into his show highlights on yuotube.   Apparently his sourrces are agents and he has been 100% wrong and yet we're still discussing him. Why?

Speaking of NFL reporters on the other hand,. Kawakami is strill strolling along saying Jim has 2 agents, he will sign with UM but his other agent is still working the NFL angle. Jimminy Christmas these guys dont quit.

At some point this guy is going to float a theory that Hackett must have threatened Harbaugh's life if he did not take the job, since why else would anyone leave the NFL to coach at some public college somewhere in the midwest

Cowherd is the ass clown of ass clowns at the ENTERTAINMENT sportsnetwork.  He's a complete joke and panders to the sarcastic, smart-ass fanbase of general sport.

He's now pissed off the entire M fanbase forever and won't ever hear the end of it.

See signature ...haven't watched but live events on the network for years

The funny development on Twitter regarding Cowherd is that there is a growing cross-section of his own fans that would rather he get off the train and concede that the NFL is no longer in the race for the services of one Jim Harbaugh. Not listening to the show, so I can't tell you if they've succeeded, but there was visible discontent regarding it.

Yeah I was listening to it too. This is right after Hasselbeck said he thought the Raiders was perfect for him and Cowherd complained about the studio he was doing the show in while in Florida.

To be fair, he admitted he was wrong and then Schefter tweeted that Chi, Oak and someone else were still going after Harbaugh hard.

He's a tool though. He is a troll, just like Bomani Jones is on Twitter.

Cowherd ( like Valentines, a local version) makes money off his ability to troll fan bases. Paying attention to the words they spew is a win for them. Better to just ignore them.

He initially said he was wrong on where Colin was wrong segment. He said that he based it on Jim's success and he was very nice about Jim. However, he showed his silliness when he read Schefter's report. He is just a clown, but puts on a good listen, when he is talking about everyone but M. May be because I am ok if he talks about other teams, how silly of me.

How is this going over your head? He applauded Michigan for going out and spending the money to get Harbaugh. When the Schefter tweet came out, he jokingly said he wasn't wrong yet, strongly implying he was. Honestly some of the shit that gets posted here... He has bashed the B1G in the past for a reason. The competition lately, has been embarrassing. Aside from the bright spots at Ohio and State. He makes money for hot takes to a national audience, not local. Edit:honestly what are the requirements to start threads now? Can anyone start one? Any "clown"?

Remember, a week ago Cowherd was mercilessly mocking the Michiagn fanbase and, in particular, a "Michigan fan site" for trusting "their own sources" over the reporting at ESPN, who were proclaiming Harbaugh to Michigan simply was not going to happen.  He could not have been a bigger douche in his proclamation that we (the MGBlog loyalists) were not believing the ESPN/Adam Schefter reporting over what we were hearing.

Foot, meet mouth...but, of course, this has never stopped Cowherd in the past.  Why now?

Again, it'll be mid-2015 before some of these guys realize Harbaugh is out ot eh NFL.  Pointing out their ongoing stupidity is probably not worth it anymore.

ESPN has a lot of air time to fill on radio and TV, when there is no live sports or re-runs of Sports Center have run their course.

He is just day time air filler after Mike & Mike on ESPN radio, and a failed day time air filler on ESPN TV. I wish I could get back the little time I've ever spent listening to the ass hat.

Two of the stupidist things I've ever heard from him was; the NCAA would never punish USC over the Reggie Bush scandle because the NCAA needed to protect the brand of their marque institutions, and it is more difficult to become a play-by-play broadcaster than to become a surgeon because there were more job opening for surgeons than play-by-play broadcasters. Idiot, idiot, idiot.
