Did you have a good feeling before you knew it was on TV?
|1 week 1 day ago||Disagree.||
Have you seen the NBA? None of your arguments for shortening the shot clock would be supported by evidence from the NBA. It's certainly not better basketball because of the shorter clock, and I can't say that I follow your statement about rewarding good defense. It means teams with poor defenses only have to hold up for 24 seconds instead of 35. Only the best defenses can man up for a full 35. If anything it is rewarding worse defenses because they have to avoid a defensive breakdown for a shorter time.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Where is that quote?||
The quote I heard was, "I never say never."
|7 weeks 2 days ago||If||
If the ball is not touching the basket at the time, is not interference--for example, if the ball is above the rim and not actually on it. Pretty close as it is bouncing around. Either way, no way it gets called. The net gets touched multiple times a game as the ball comes through it and they never make that call.

Yes. That was the play call. The players said that play is practiced regularly.
|10 weeks 6 days ago||I'll take it||
I'll take the same problem that Alabama has every year.
|11 weeks 12 hours ago||Not what he meant.||
I don't think he was saying the original post was spiteful. He just didn't want any of the comments to turn into the usual "Sparty being Sparty" response.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Not MJ||
Let's not get carried away with MJ. This is a great stretch, but Jordan did this on more than one occasion. Jordan had 10 game stretches where he averages over 40 ppg. And he had multiple streaks of over 10 games in a row where he topped 30. He also had full seasons where he averaged 35 pnts, 6+ rebounds, 6+ assists and 3 steals. What KD is doing is crazy, but it was a yearly occurrence for Jordan. Everyone makes a big deal for a guy getting 30 pnts nowadays, but that was MJs career.

Just curious...where did you see this?

Besides that whole "non-football" requirement.

Good info, but you should at least give credit for your cut and paste job.

That's not Herbie. That's the guy who asked Herbie the question. But yes, it does sound like a porn star.
|21 weeks 4 days ago||Well...||
Well, this is a waste of a thread. I thought I would read some insightful comments regarding the original post. I'll just go elsewhere.
|22 weeks 2 days ago||Really?||
I'm guessing if he goes just about anywhere he will win some and still be in the NFL in a few years.
|22 weeks 4 days ago||Serious?||
Damn defense. If they would just shut every team out, we'd be undefeated right now. Such a let down.
|23 weeks 5 days ago||Disagree||
I disagree. Teams can improve considerably during the season. Not just in the off season. Just look at the team that just wiped its rear end with us as an example.
|26 weeks 4 days ago||And....||
In the above picture, it wouldn't even be a 3 step drop. It would be a no step turn and throw. So batted balls wouldn't be an issue either since the line would barely have time to move.
|31 weeks 6 days ago||It was a teaching moment||
It was a teaching moment, but perhaps he could have handled it a little more gently. You can't try to force a pass when it is first down in that situation. Throw it away and you have three more plays to try to punch it in.
|33 weeks 6 days ago||Leyland=JV||
Leyland is the manager and is very loyal to his players. He is going to go with JV. He has been the ace of the staff for several years and I see Leyland sticking with him. It is a good problem to have, I guess.
|41 weeks 3 days ago||Undervalued and more likeable?||
I think he is undervalued because of his limited action. A few starts at the end of the year and people (nationwide) still aren't sure what to expect. And is he more "likeable" than Denard or more desirable as a QB? Hard to find someone more likeable as a person than Denard.

What do you call a lesbian dinosaur?
|51 weeks 10 hours ago||Why desktop||
Why the heck would you want a desk top for anything? Besides the fact that my employer provides one, I have no use for a desk top. MacBook Pro. Thank you very much.
|52 weeks 3 hours ago||You shut the city||
You shut the city down because you have terrorists on the loose and don't know they are 19 year olds hiding in the boat. You can't have a city full of people out and about and blocking the authorities. It doesn't show that you are giving in. Be realistic. Don't be the hero.

Not sure it is even possible anymore, but I wish these things could remain private until the kid holds his press conference. Let him have his moment.

I still say McGary is most like Tyler Hansborough. Psycho T.

|1 year 4 weeks ago||Ding ding ding||
You, sir, just hit the nail on the head. Our worst defenders are freshman. How long did it take Stu to become the best on-ball defender on the team? Exactly. Not in 30 games. Nik is slow. We knew that when he signed. And GRIII seldoms goes all out on the defensive end. These traits aren't going away in a single season.
