Who do you want to win this years Final Four?
Currently it is Sunday night and I know most of you are settling down and mentally preparing yourself for the new week, so here is a nice snowflake thread for you. Rank the teams in order that you desire to win the National Championship, feel free to explain why.
My order
1) Virginia. Simply because their win would affect Michigan the least. Seriously, the only memory I have of Michigan competing against Virginia was Lloyd Carr's first game were Michigan made (at the time) their biggest comeback in program history.
2) Texas Tech. I know they beat Michigan but I cannot pull for Michigan State over anyone. I struggled but secretly hoped that Duke would dispatch Sparty. Duke failed but let's hope Texas Tech doesn't. Tech has a strong team that wouldn't surprise us at least if they won next Monday.
3) Auburn. I am not a fan of cheaters. Bruce Pearl is a cheater.
4) Michigan State. Please God don't let us deal with insufferable Spartan fans for the entire year. I don't mind if the B1G's national championship drought extends in this case.
easy choice - T-Tech. second would be UVA.
Suffering through App St, I would have never wished that on any apparently clean program. Especially one with the academic reputation of UVA.
UVA over TT would be great, IMO.

Yes, UVA is in the ACC. But they're not the insufferable tobacco road ACC. Tony Bennett is a class coach with a class program. I respect the school, as well.
TTU is a distant second.
Auburn is a very distant third.
Same TT then Virginia. Fuck state and Pearl is a cheater pays to play. But on another note 4 of our 7 losses came to 2 teams that are in the Final 4 and one will be in the Championship game. So considering how we loss the last game I still think we had a great season. Next year if Iggy stays we should be a better team.
Yeah, I really think TT and Virginia are 1a and 1b for me. Really hoping that is the final. Should make for a hell of a game.
Neither Sparty nor Auburn/Bruce Pearl deserve nice things, and TT knocking out those pricks from EL would be a solid little consolation.

Texas Tech of course. That means we lost to the champions. Plus they are a dynamite team.

I like the thought of your view, but I can't actually root for msu to win. I hope they lose. Having said that, if msu does win part of me will be happy for my friends that are msu fans.

Can I also add here that I really enjoy the way Cassius Winston plays? I like watching him. I want Texas tech to bring it home though.
For the most part, he is fun to watch. I do, however, get jealous of how much he gets away with. He rarely gets called for the push off that he does every time, while drawing a lot of touch fouls. He has had a hell of a year, though.

I have a ton of UK fans and I root for them to lose every chance I get. Sack up!
I would rather see a team made up of Marshall Henderson, Aaron Craft, Grant Hill, Tyler Hansbrough, and Christian Laettner win than MSU.

I live in Ohio and have plenty of Buckeye friends; I want them to be happy but they can be happy about something else besides OSU sports. I'll wish them health and prosperity in every other facet of their lives but I want OSU (and MSU ) to lose every game in every sport.
In this order
1. Virginia - I think Tony Bennett is a great coach, leader of men, and a first class coach.
2. Auburn - Fun team to watch and redemption for Pearl
3. Tech - Beard has done a phenomenal job and is lining up donors to expand the footprint of TT basketball. Maybe he gets hired away but word from the Guns Up people I've heard from is he is staying and getting a broad base of support ($$$)
4. Sparty - I guess they're much better than I think. They are mentally tough and have earned it. But that doesn't mean I want them to win.

Him winning a national title is only preferable in a world where a coach who enables rapists wins a(nother) national title.
God help us if it's an MSU-Auburn final.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, after the Pearl hire. Auburn might be the only university that would strongly consider a Dave Bliss head coaching application. Pearl is filthy. But his ethos fits perfectly at Auburn.
