Some knowledge, strangely apt for this occasion:
January 9th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
Communicating telepathically with STEVE SARKISIAN
January 9th, 2011 at 6:51 PM ^
This just made my day. haha. Very well done.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:35 PM ^
On vacation.

Don't encourage him... "The Knowledge" doesn't know something we don't.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:36 PM ^
She is nude sun bathing high atop Mt. Arafat and listening to the gods fornicate with the wrath of a million hungry termites. After that, you will have your answer.
January 9th, 2011 at 7:10 PM ^
Mt. Arafat?
How is Yassir doing?
January 9th, 2011 at 7:26 PM ^
It's real. It's a dormant volcano in Turkey, where the gods indulge their gritty, earth-shaking, passions.

However, unless there are two of them it is in Saudi Arabia.

Mt. Ararat is in Turkey.

...Or an entire bag of salt but...
January 9th, 2011 at 5:38 PM ^
Davey, keep looking. I can wait.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:38 PM ^
FWIW, THE KNOWLEDGE said Steve Sarkisian was coming to Michigan the last time we had a search.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:40 PM ^
Maybe this time he will say Luke Fickell
January 9th, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
Is on the plane going to Baton Rouge.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:41 PM ^
Until I see the smoke and hear those words.....
January 9th, 2011 at 5:41 PM ^
rumors are that things aren't as rosey as one would hope in Baton Rouge. Don't count your miles just yet.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:44 PM ^
i just want someone to come out and speak who actually has knowledge of whats going on!! my eye's have been glued to mgoblog for the past 5 days clicking the refresh button over and over to see if anything new comes up!
January 9th, 2011 at 5:47 PM ^
But I've been spending more time tracking flights and reading tigerdroppings than I care to admit!
I have no life.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:54 PM ^
You and everyone else. The fact that we keep getting gateway errors and site problems say that all of us are glued to our computers just waiting for news to break. I for one have not left my bedroom for anything but food and to use the restroom.
Soon young one, soon we will know.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:15 PM ^
Switch this with a Macbook and i have done this the past 5 days.. pathetic me.. wow.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:15 PM ^
I too am overly consumed by this. I don't know if the chest pains are because I am nervous and excited to see who we hire, or if it is the fear and dread that something aweful is coming our way.
Either way, I want to know now. I can't take this much longer...
January 9th, 2011 at 5:47 PM ^
Not looking good for us....offer from LSU bumping Les salary to $5mill a year with incentives. No way in hell would he leave a perennial 10 win team for a 2+ year rebuilding effort.... Time for option C.....
January 9th, 2011 at 5:53 PM ^
Does that site state what U of M would offer/has offered?
January 9th, 2011 at 5:55 PM ^
I think he still might leave if UM offers him a similar salary. Maybe it's me, but it has always seemed like he would bolt for AA if given the opportunity.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:19 PM ^
That deal was all but done, right down to the house hunting in AA... He would leave, and I don't think the last 3 years have been that much fun for him either. He is winning games, but not a pleasant environment and I would guess AA is looking pretty good. The football program sets up well - almost a lock for him to show improvement year 1.
January 9th, 2011 at 8:12 PM ^
he was never considered last time. Remember LC hates his guts because a long time ago incident when both were assistants on the umich staff. LC was helping Sailor Bill last time; thus, no chance for Les.
this time, it is different -- little LC input.
PS. i have no dog in this race; I just want a coach named this coming Wednesday to salvage recruiting.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:51 PM ^
Probably still hiding in a bunker somewhere due to "lack thereof" during this past season.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:54 PM ^
Yes, my entire life has become MGoBlog, ESPN Insider, and tigerdroppings.
January 9th, 2011 at 5:55 PM ^
You own a tiger?
January 9th, 2011 at 5:55 PM ^
Tweeted "gruden to michigan has legs, les miles still frontrunner, dick jauron darkhorse." or something like that.
I know this isn't the thread topic, but I don't know where to put anything anymore.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:00 PM ^
If Dick Jauron is a darkhorse, someone needs to euthanize that thing ASAP.
Signed, Buffalo Bills fan lamenting his NFL fanhood...
January 9th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
Co-signed by a Bears fan. Those were some dark days and made us clamor for old Dave Wannstedt. Please no. Every time the camera showed him, he just looked helpless out there.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:18 PM ^
Go Dayton Flyers! Tough loss today....I am a UD alumn, graduated in 2009.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:01 PM ^
I have grown to like this Gruden idea, especially after looking through Les's recruiting class and noticing that most the incomers are from La. One of my main selling points for Les was the potential that he could help U of M's 2010 class with some ship jumpers, but that doesn't seem as likely now. Thanks for the info, Laveranues.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:00 PM ^
Wojnowski has said as long as UM doesn't low ball LM, it's his job. The Gruden stuff I have fell all along, is just hot air.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:03 PM ^
Where? I couldn't find it on twitter
January 9th, 2011 at 7:05 PM ^
I think you have a fake Chengelis. There is someone on twitter (she mentioned this a while back) that someone was pretending to be her and post false tweets.
EDIT: The fake is @achengelis.
January 9th, 2011 at 7:39 PM ^
I think it was the fake one, then. She had replies from other newspaper people, so I assumed it was her.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
When it comes to the coaching search, I have stop trusting tweets as a source of information
January 9th, 2011 at 7:24 PM ^
I would rather toss Mike Golic's post-workout (which most likely consist of eating a ham salad with cheese sandwich ) salad than watch a UM game featuring Dick Jauron at the helm
January 9th, 2011 at 5:59 PM ^
Will he shut down the site for several days? Will it become a news ticker until Spring ball? These could be important question s as it seems the Les Miles train may be leaving the station.
Once again the rich get richer and UM is left holding the bag. If we don't get Miles we are ND.
January 9th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
With the improvement they showed late, and the bowl win... I am afraid they are pulling away from us if we don't get this right.
Let's face it, we likely lose that game this year if Christ doesn't get hurt...
We need a great coaching hire, ASAP
January 9th, 2011 at 6:47 PM ^
Christ in South Bend makes me worry.
