What happens if...

MSU loses to PSU, Michigan beats OSU and Iowa, Baylor loses to TCU or Texas, Stanford beats ND, but loses to Utah in the Pac-12 Championship game, FSU beats Florida, Okie State beats Oklahoma?

It won't happen, complete pipe dream, but any of those things could actually happen.

Also, you can come up with a scenario that puts both Iowa and MSU in the playoff - which is weird.

Again, all random scearios...but anyway, I agree with your top 10-12.

Florida barely beat FAU.  Everyone has a bad game.  Plus while BCs record is  crap they are have one of the best defenses in the country and ND dropped nearly 500 yards on them.  I hope the committee is smart enough to know that this should have been a blowout.  5 TOs... Bleh.

ND barely beat my Owls in Philly (and would not have if my damn safety takes a reasonable angle, but what is done is done). ND needs to win impressively given they don't have a conference championship game to lean on. Five turnovers makes your 500 yard argument pointless. I hope the committee is smart enough to know that ND barely beat Virginia, a quality Temple team and a crap BC.

Nd had 150 more yards and 10 more first downs but had 5 turnovers to BC's 1 with alot of ND's coming in the red zone on offense.  They probably won't  move and shouldn't b/c that game.

I'm hoping for top 10 for Michigan. (I also think we should dispatch a psychologist and Jedd Fisch to Happy Valley to help Hack, Franklin and PSU for the week.  Maybe even let our TE coach help on their gameday with clock management)

Bama should drop like Shit through a tin horn after playing that team in November.

I have no idea and don't care to know what WD's sex life is like, but I've noticed that anyone making fun of someone else's sex life most likely doesn't have a very strong one themselves, or it's the only thing they got going for them in life.

Unless they drop Florida, we will probably only move up 1 spot assuming that Ok St drops below us. OSU probably falls to around #7 and MSU probably jumps up to around #6. I think normally ND would drop a spot, but nobody is giving Iowa any love, so it's hard to see the committee flipping those two.

Personally, I think Alabama is the best team out there and Oklahoma is probably second best. That said, the committee will probably go:

1) Clemson

2) Alabama

3) Notre Dame

4) Oklahoma (assuming they hold off TCU)

5) MSU

6) Iowa

7) Florida (despite nearly losing to a 2-8 FCS team)

They won

  • 9-7 over Vandy
  • over S Carolina after convering 3rd & 8 up only three to avoid punting to the Gamecocks for a potential game winning/tying drive with ~1:30 to go (the SCar team that lost to The Citadel today)
  • 20-14 to Fla Atlantic.  Should have been called for pass interference/defensive holding on 2nd down in OT which would have given Fla Altlantic the ball 1st and goal at the 2/5.

If Iowa beats MSU in the B1G, Iowa will be in and ND will be out.

If MSU beats Iowa, there will be debate but MSU should be in.

If Michigan plays Iowa and wins, its possible the B1G gets shut out, but Michigan should suprass a one loss ND.

If ND loses to Stanford they are obviously out.  If it is a close game ND could stil be out.

I think Oklahoma is the hottest team in the country right now and really top 2-3 but the committe won't agree.  I've said for a few weeks the way Oklahoma is destroying people that they scare me the most (I think at the time they were #14) to box us out down the road.  OKs top rb got hurt and when I turned off that game their 2nd top rb also was gimpy so that could ruin them if both are serious.

So it will be something like

  1. Clemson
  2. Bama
  3. ND
  4. Iowa
  5. MSU
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Baylor
  8. OSU
  9. Florida
  10. UM
  11. OK State
  12. Stanford

(or flip Stanford and UM I guess because committee sees it that way)

Its sort of moot to me go forward though as we needed 2 things to happen this week and OSU could not do its 1 thing.

Just praying for ND to beat Stanford now (last week I wanted them to lose) and Oklahoma to destroy OK State so they can box out MSU.

Iowa winning will also do but this mSU team is like ND 2012 where nearly every fucking break goes theiv way so they will find a fluke way to beat Iowa too.  Hell even weather is going MSU's way at this point.

Hey 4 big 10 teams in top 10/11.  Yee haw I guess.

ND/Stanford is 7:30.

You'll know who to root for before they even kick off. Don't count out MSU shitting the bed. Stranger things have happened.

They beat Michigan and OSU this year and never lead either team for 1 second. It's a weird fucking year.

I could totally see PSU winning an ugly game like MSU/Purdue. PSU is better than Purdue.

MSU has had 6 games come down to final drive and are 5-1.  They have won 2 games where they only led at 0:00.  At this point I expect them to beat PSU and Iowa.  PSU is a shit team with a shit OL that MSU is going to kill and Hackenberg will be lucky to have a limb attached by end of that gamme.  Iowa will lose on a fluke and probably lead the entire game until 0:00.  It just is what it is.  They are Notre Dame 2012 minus the fake gf.

I can only hope the $$$$$ of ND and sex appeal of Oklahoma boxes them out.

Dantonio controls the weather at this point.  Monsoon conditions for a game he lost his QB.  Against Indiana there was a literally a drive where it monsooned on Indiana's 4 plays and then it cleared up when MSU got the ball on offense.

Guy scares me at this point - there are so many soulless people in EL he has sacrificed.
