2 great plays to get cuts to the hoop have failed and Simpson just airballed a 3 pointer.

Not sure we can win this game with garbage possessions like those.

According to the announcers, it’s a pro-Rutgers crowd. Thanks, Warde!

Also, Teske and Simpson should never shoot more than a few feet out from the basket.

4/7 from 3 in the first 12 minutes. Johns hit 2 of them. Would be nice if they randomly had a Bahamas-esque shooting game. Could be the difference, especially if the officiating is going to be like it was the last two possessions before the timeout.

Said this in the streaming thread, but there is a whole lot of red in MSG today. Not sure if this was Warde's or Beilein's doing to have this game in NY, but I hope Michigan got a ton of money to give up a home game for this shit. Like Scrooge McDuck kind of money where you had no choice but to say yes.

Even if Michigan wins, this still counts in the selection committee's eyes as a home game. You're not going to get credit for beating a top-25 team on the road.

Rutgers essentially gets two home games against Michigan this year.

Really a big missed opportunity early to build a lead w/ those consecutive scoreless possessions.

Edit: Johns doing to an opponent what opponents have done to us would be very nice.

We saw a glimpse of it at times vs Nebraska, but with Simpson back we finally are seeing something that resembles a cohesive unit. Something that we’ve been lacking the entire time Livers has been out
