UofM private jet in MS

a buddy of mine who is very in tune with the college sports scene in the south and in particular mississippi just sent me a picture of the UofM private jet down in jackson. only airport big enough to handle this sort of plane close to starkville, ms.

What're the chances that db is trolling us on his way out? I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I wouldn't be surprised if we see it go from San Fran to BWI either.

The airport to watch is Columbus, Golden Triangle (GTR). It is big enough to land this plane and provides commercial service to Atlanta. It is about 20 minutes east of campus.

As someone correctly posted, this jet is owned by a U of M alum and donor. He is frequently in Ann Arbor for business purposes. Tracking this plane for MgoBloggers will be like teasing a cat with a laser pointer.

Isn't this the exact same plane we all attempted to flight track during the Hoke coaching search and we all found out it just belongs to a rich alum

The coaching search isn't even official and it's certainly not public. You seriously think University reps are flying around in a freakin plane with the block 'M' on the side? Not only is this insane from our vantage point (where we still have a head coach), but you really think a coach currently leading the #1 team in the country in SEC territory is going to say "Yeah let's meet in the middle of the season and be sure to fly your plane with the f*cking block M on the side so everyone in the whole f*cking state of Mississippi knows about it!"

So the UofM plane should be landing at Palo Alto Airport of Santa Clara County, which is about 15 minutes from Harbaugh's house.

It never will land there. 

But if it ever did land there, then Schlissel and Co. would be wise to camp out at Country Corner in Menlo Park, since Jim usually picks up his morning cup of joe there on the way to work.

I would personally donate $1,000 to Michigan today if it helped secure Harbaugh. 

I know it's a longshot to land Jimmy, but PLEASE GOD make this happen!  Please lay off the smite button, and push the joy button for the Michigan football program.
