Blowing up on twitter. Another big unveil event.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- When Nike, Inc. and Jordan Brand began their partnership with the University of Michigan this year, special launch events captivated audiences and sports media. Another such event is slated for Friday, Sept. 30, when U-M's Jumpman basketball uniforms will be unveiled at Crisler Center.

The 7 p.m. event is free and open to the public. Due to the anticipated crowd, attendees are required to register on the Nike special events website.

To unveil the uniforms, Jordan Brand is bringing a high-energy celebration to feature the men's and women's basketball teams and producer DJ Khaled. The event will also be the Wolverines basketball teams' first look at the new uniform designs amidst a full night of programming, including musical performances and team skills challenges.

U-M coaches John Beilein and Kim Barnes Arico will join DJ Khaled to lead the event with community participation throughout the evening.

Quincy Jones was a musician and was a producer.   Khaled's albums are gutter basement rap.  His last "album" was serious booty.  Best song on it was the Nas song and that shit sucked.  With that said, I did find him hilarious in his bit part in Popstar, and he seems like a pretty entertaining guy, regardless of his lack of musical skill and shit albums.  I have no problem with him hosting this event.

Excellent, can't wait for his talentless man-titties to be terrible and make more shit music.

Disclaimer: Something, something, kids eat it up, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Double disclaimer: I'm not old, DJ Khaled is turrible, and a travesty to music (as are so many others of his kind).

You realize the music he makes is really other artists songs, right?

Now if you just hate ALL current hip hop music, then yes, you'd hate DJ Khaled. But you can't really like too many current hip hop artists without liking him. He's made songs with damn near everyone who is out right now.

Anyway, you were better off just saying "I hate all rap/hip hop" and not singling him out.

Sorry Yost, but the artists he works with are really bad.  Even that new Nas song on his latest turd was awful and I love Nas.  I wouldn't even say he is working with hip hopers on his shit.  Future, Drake, Jay Z, Chris Brown, Niki Minaj, French Montana young cheesy, lil wayne.  lol.  if those are what you consider hip hop, then wow, when did hip hop become r&b/pop??  Shit is gutter basement rap at best.

The only Jay Z albums I like  are Reasonable doubt and Streets is Watching.  I hate hate hate pop rap, and Jay Z has made nothing but pop rap since 99.  I don't consider him a goat or anywhere close to it.  Dude HAD skills on the mic, but he is washed up.  I never liked his beat selection, especially after he stopped working with DJ Premier.  Reasonable doubt is a classic though.  Lil Wayne is part of the wave of artists that destroyed the south for me.   I loved the down south funk of Geto Boys, Eightball and MJG, UGK and Outkast, there was a level of musicianship involved that the No limit's and Cash Money labels simply destroyed with their generic casio keyboard sounding garbage.

Sorry, but I am a hip hop purist.  I'm from Indy but grew up in LA in the early 90's and was at the Good Life Cafe many a night, watching the true great mc's of our day rip mics.  A lot of these artists were light years better than these rappers who win the popularity contest.   There are still very good artists in hip hop.  The new Cold 187um album is probably album of the year in my opinion.  Napoleon the legend dropped 2 really dope madlib produced mixtapes, Sick Jacken dropped a dope dope album in Psychedelic.  I will give you that Jay Z is hip hop, but the rest of the Khaled album has some of the truley wackest artists in the game.

This is a random ESPN article with a random illustrator positing "what would it be like if the guy that designs Oregon uniformz did it for other teams?" Most of them, Michigan included, are terrible. The OSU ones actually don't look too bad, and it would be hilarious if they wore a Brutus head helmet. The USC ones weren't horrible.

Anyway, please emphasize when posting these (and things like it, which happens all the damn time): these are one dude's "artistic impressions" and in no way official proposals for uniforms.

I really wish Harbaugh would reach out to Webber, and get him back in the fold... forgive and forget...  now is the time.
