UM/MSU Eve POSBANG

Submitted by UM Fan from Sydney on

Happy Friday and UM/MSU Eve to all of my fellow Wolverine fans. Only one more day until we get this game going (finally). This week has dragged slower for me than last week, but hopefully we will see a fourth straight shutout (would that be a record?), but I doubt that happens. It will likely be a stressful, close game, but Michigan will win. Go blue. Enjoy your Friday.

Okay .... So in 2012 we were back for win #900 through Alumni Assoc block On Saturday we again have tickets through the Alumni Association and they are the exact same seats. Section - Row - Seats I realize there are going to be 110,000+ at the game with season tickets, student tickets and many other factors that limit the math a bit, but what are the chances? Exact Same Seats Have gone to six other games with AA Tix and always in different seats. #HARBAUGH

Need to win this game. Trying not to get my hopes up. I hope Harbaugh doesn't let this team crap the bed and has been saving a few things for Staee. Win this game and I will believe.

One thing I want to know is will there be a storming of the field if we win? It seems like this fan base has just been starving for a huge win and the last time we stormed was also against state

I'm so ready for the game! Like most fans, I'm interested to see how Jake Rudock handles himself in his first big rivalry game as a Wolverine. In a strange, homerish way of thinking, I believe there is some small advantage to being a newcomer at his specific position with his experience and background. His focus, of course, will be the same as it is every game -- dissect the defense, make the right read, and get the ball where it needs to go with accuracy. Howeva, this game will be so much more intense than any other he's played in thus far, and it will be played at a much higher speed. These challenges notwithstanding, he has such a nice array of offensive weapons at his disposal this time around. I'm sure some of the more veteran Wolverines (staff included) have given him the necessary background in the rivalry, but I imagine him taking a very workmanlike approach to the game -- just take care of business, and win, baby.

Save a late pick in '13 that pretty much sealed the game for Sparty, he put on a decent performance against a very stout Spartan defense: he completed his last 11 passes of the first half against the Spartan D and put up good numbers through the first 2 quarters of play. If not for Dennard (2 picks), he might have done enough to get the W for the Hawkeyes, though their offense was nonexistent in the second half of that game. He was also the leading rusher against Sparty that day -- at 11(!) yards total on the ground. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure our running back committee will put up much more than that on Saturday.

I can't figure out that picture.  They really seem to be posing like that..in a bathroom.

It's a little early.  Am I just not picking up on the photoshop clues?  Is Connor Cook's hand really on that dude's hip?
