UM vs. App State: Where you at?!??!

Submitted by boliver46 on

I posted a thread earlier in the week about taking my son to his first UM game.  I didn't know where I was sitting, but didn't care because the tickets were FREE!!!!!!

I am geeked to be going for the first time in years, and sharing the tradition with my son!!!!

Where's everyone else sitting?!?!

Did I mention I am geeked???  Have I used enough punctuation!?!??!

MOD EDIT - at the suggestion of a couple people, the photo of the ticket is down as the barcode was visible and that open the doors to scams. - LSA

Go Blue!!!

People will dwell on it and refuse to let go of it just like a lot of Michigan are slow to admit that MSU is a on par or better than ours at this point, but it's been years since I've heard anyone comment that the Big House is quiet anymore. A very pleasant development

At the bar in the General Store on Middle Bass Island, Ohio.  Praying that the owner Eddie is a man of his word and puts on the game on one his two big screen TVs as he promised he would and doesnt succumb to the hordes of Buckeye fans which will boo loudly if he does and will want the OSU game on both sets.

I'm really close to yours! Section 31, Row 83, Seat 16. Got one of those cheap tickets that the athletic dpt was trying to get rid of in the last minute. I didn't buy student season tickets this year, but I'd be damned If I wasn't going to cheer my ass for the best team in the nation!

Godson has my tix in Section 42, and he has promised to bring the noise.  Will be watching with MGoBrother, who is in town dropping #1 daughter off for college here in Chicago.

renew this year.  So we will camp out in front of the Union and see if we can get something below Row 50 in Sections 24, 23, or 22 (or any other section where people are likely to know the lyrics to the Yellow and Blue.  /partially S)

will you be wearing?  I will be in Michigan gear so should stand out!

Oh wait.  NM.

LOL

I do kinda stand out though - 6'4" 250 lbs. in a blue Denard jersey (err...I mean #16 NCAA!) and my son will be in a Road White Gardner jersey (#12 NCAA...geez.)

Not going.  Last time I bought great tickets, drove home from PA the night before, went to Angelo's for breakfast, shopped at MDen and got a new jersey, went to Dominic's for some drinks and walked with the crowd/band to the game.  Then "it" happened.  This year I will do the opposite.  Didn't get tickets, signed up to work, not going to AA, not even watching the game live.  Anything I can do opposite last time I will.
