UM-Rutger Predict the score

I didn’t see one yet, but if there is, mods, please delete this command with extreme prejudice.

So, who’s going to win this game, and by how much?

I would have picked this game closer than the Vegas line or whatever, given that Rutger should have won last year, and they’re due to win one. Also, when you’re a run team, the score can sometimes be closer than the actual game play indicates. I’m one who rarely picks UM to run up a score. And I respect the RU defense more than some do.

However, I think that losing the CB Melton is going to put a crack square in the middle of the dam. UM, if somehow bottled up in the ground by RU, should be able to pass, and I think that they want to get Daylen and Cornelius really in rhythm before UW, and do it with deep passes, not just dink and dunk.

And to oversimplify, I just don’t see RU’s lane to score.

TL;DR UM is better than Rutger

RU 10 - UM 42

Ok, who else wants to predict this thing?

Prediction: Michigan 35, Rutgers 16. Vegas line feels correct to me. Rutgers has a good defense. Rutgers has a lousy offense, and the game is at Michigan. Rutger's strong D gives them a few extra possessions, allowing them to reach 16. #GoBlue

...with the 9 being an early touchdown and a Rutgered 2PC and then a late field goal.

Close game early. Good guys pull ahead in second half   Rutger gets a garbage TD and 2pt late to make it look closer than it really was.   Big blue rumbles for about 250 on the ground   Throws for about 170.   Tougher sledding. Lots of F-bombs on the game thread   But.   Rolling on…

34-22 - Mich.

42-15 Michigan

The defensive stunts stymie a few Michigan drives and the score at half is somewhat close at halftime, Rutgers just won’t be able to move the ball, and eventually the talent differential just takes over.

Rutgers is well coached and these games will be closer as Schiano gets more of his guys and his culture within the program, but they’re not there right now.

I'll respect the Rutgers defense and go Mich 31 Rutgers 17. If our guys are able to run all over them in the first couple of drives then; Game Over and it's a blow out win for the Maize and Blue.

I hope all of the blow out predictions come true-Go Blue!!

According to ESPN, the line has moved up to UM -20.5.  Figure plenty of UM fans in Vegas this afternoon, placing bets, helping to increase the line:
