Go Titans!

I would love to see Detroit make it to the tourney.  Growing up I would go to a few UofD games a year with my Grandpa, who was an alum.  So they will always have a special place in my heart.  Definitely my #2 favorite college basketball team, behind the Maize and Blue of course.

Edit: Plus Bacari went there!  Even more reason to cheer on UofD for those who are apathetic.

Stuckey is the key for the Pistons, when he plays well the Pistons are a competitive team, when he doesn't we lose to Cleveland and Toronto. Greg Monroe had an awful night from the field as well but did haul in 15 boards at least.

This team still needs some solid draft picks, but I enjoy watching the young guys play, and Frank seems to have them playing defense lately.

Good to see Doug Anderson (Kzoo Central) land somewhere.  I believe he was at Mott for a couple years.  Kid is an athletic freak.  Just nearly hit his head on the rim throwing down a fast break dunk.

I actually played against him in HS. He's a good guy, didn't talk smack or nothing (even though they beat us by 30) He is a freak of nature, very athletic. It's hard to picture myself on the same court as him 3 years ago. Detroit is absolutely turning it up on both sides right now! Go Titans!

Actually regarding UCLA, you are thinking about Trey Zeigler, who we did have a legit shot with (actually we were considered the favorite for much of his recruitment).  He was considering Michigan, Sparty, and UCLA, but decided to play for his dad at Central Michigan.

I don't remember McCallum ever considering UCLA, but I do remember Kansas being pretty high on his board.

Although it is possible Detroit ends up in the 14 seed range, I really couldn't see them placing 2 Michigan teams against eachother in round 1. It just seems odd to me, you never know though.  They're very athletic, and could cause problems for somebody in the 1st rd. (Although it's technically the 2nd round now)

This is a good time - they have size, athleticism - I'm really impressed.  Remind of VCU from last year except they don't have as much offensive movement....

they play hard, they play good defense, they are very athletic, they have good size in their front court...could be a very scary matchup...McCallum has done a hell of a job with that program in only three years
