Two completely different allegations covered Urban vs Jim

I am going to start out by saying this is completely a fluff post so do not continue reading on if you are looking for more updates on The Ohio vs The World (checks ESPN, Yahoo Sports and CBS sports headlines) I mean The Ohio AND the World vs Michigan then this is not the post for you.  I was watching Jim Harbaugh’s press conference today, specifically this part and couldn’t help but notice how positive our Coach continues to be throughout this headhunt to take him down.  It made me think back to what happened to Urban during the allegations that came on him with one of his staff members (see summary story/video here)  Urban seemed disinterested, pissed and overall not even focused on the fact he just got caught lying. If memory serves me correctly, the media was pretty split as to what Urban even did wrong throughout the investigation and the fan base was flabbergasted that Urban would even be blamed for enabling a domestic violence abuser.  Jim Harbaugh can be a strange bird and we often hear that he is difficult to work with but his players seem to love him more the longer he is here. I have not seen our fan base be as unified as we are right now. What is happening right now with the B1G is a disgrace to our conference and college football, yet our coach remains steady, confident and laser focused on what has gotten him to this point. There is not a better Coach out there to lead our young men on the football field than James Joseph Harbaugh. Go Blue!

This is a tangent, but does anyone remember a quote from Mark Dantonio in 2012 or maybe it was 2016.  The Spartans were losing a ton of games and a Free Press or Detroit News reporter asked Mark how he deals with a losing season, and he said "the other day I was thinking about the season, the losing, in the shower and started crying."

Does anyone remember this quote?  If anyone can cite it, would be greatly appreciated, it was kind of buried in the paper later in the season 2012 or likely 2016.

Am tired of hearing Jim is a weirdo. Those who call him that are those who accept losing.   Rather he is a sublime competitor at the highest level and thinking on that level and knows it's a waste to deal.to things that don't matter when it comes to tbe end game of winning so won't have time for the snowflake interaction or general populace behavior.

I will say that there's a world where Harbaugh knew enough about Conor to be reasonably considered "guilty", for whatever definition of guilty you may have.  He's competitive to a fault and isn't above pushing the envelop to get an edge, which describes.... most successful college football coaches.  He is not a perfect person and he should probably hire less weirdos just because they're intense ex-military people.

That said, when Urban had the ZS allegations, OSU's own investigation revealed that one of the first things he did was to ask a staffer how to delete old text messages.  Harbaugh, for all of his foibles, has not done that.

Every. Random. Thought. Does. Not. Require. A. Separate. Thread.

I know if you just post your random thoughts inside one of the 50 or so random thought threads created by others we might not see yours but trust me, it’s ok.

Haha.  At least I created an accurate link or links…..amirite? I warned about the fluff and this is a blog, but your point is noted. Maybe this isn’t the proper way to express it, but I do think it is amazing how unified our fan base is right now and how calm and confident our coach is during an investigation compared to our biggest rival. I will leave the rest of the stupid fluff pieces to Thamel!
