An embarrassment to our history and our reputation. His bad play calling and cockiness throughout the week singlehandedly lost us this game and the season. Welcome to mediocrity fellows, there goes the bowl streak. - Georgia Tech commenter

I agree with Nanni here - the big miss here is that it fails to incorporate the fact that the game was in South Bend and in a place where - and yes, there is no empirical evidence for this - the rules are conveniently misremembered by officials at critical moments. Such additions could have made this an epic rant.

So Bama fans are bent out of shape and bitching about a coach, saying to fire him, when all he did was turn a perennial 8-4 team into 3 time national champs ..... Um. Ok.

On tidefans I saw a comment that basically said

"Saban can recruit but it takes a special talent to squander all the talent he brings in."

Talk about losing perspective.  How a Bama fan can really complain I don't know.

Mizzou (3-0) @ Kentucky (2-1)

Miss St (2-1 @ Auburn (2-1)

aTm (3-0) @ Arkanbielemas (1-2)

Tenn (2-1) @ Florida (3-0)

LSU (3-0) @ Syracuse (3-0)  This should be a great game.

The rest are body bag games.

"Was the worst display of vomitous, cantankerous, shit sucking, sister fucking crock of horse shit I've ever seen."

Greatest comment of all time from an Alabama fan.

I think the answer to that question is in here somewhere.

I think my favorite piece of this is when the team's star DB was dismissed for a violation of team rules, Bowden explained that he'd gotten into debt at a local dog track...and the track's owner turned out to be a wealthy alum who was pissed at the public embarrassment.

That's Auburn football in one sentence.

The short version of my theory is that success breeds jealousy. You can't win there without getting on the good ol' boys' nerves, and once you do the recruiting pipeline shuts down and you're through.

I refuse to feel sorry for Alabama fans. Oh no, you mean your chances of winning a 4th national title in the last 7 years aren't looking so good? Boo fucking hoo.

Every team in the country would kill for the consistency of success they've had over the last 7-8 years. I suppose they'd rather go back to life before Saban where Bryant-Denny was lucky to be full and they were a perennial 7-5 to 8-4 team.

If having a bad year means my team goes 9-3 or 10-2 and still plays in a meaningful bowl game, I'll take that every year and be more than happy with it.

OMG. That was hilarious. We were miserable for 7 years, but we weren't crazy. I love to see SEC fans falling apart. I cannot believe they are mad at Saban. I love the meltdown. We need to win a championship this year. Two B1G teams in a row would do it for those fans. I am crying because I laughed so hard.

I know SEC fans love to freak out, but Auburn basically had the worst two-week stretch in recent memory for them and they're still 2-1 and should make a nice bowl game if they can get anything out of the offense.

Now, if I'm an Arkansas fan I'd be freaking out that this meathead from Wiscy can't beat Texas Tech or Toledo, but Malzahan is still a pretty good coach.
