Isn't football scoop trash though. I would think Turley has enough incentive to go to Michigan. We're the better football school, we have the coach who hired the guy in 2007, we are paying more money for assistant coaches than Stanford is but that may be NFL shield thinking.

MLive, The Stanford Daily, 247, and ESPN all reported that he was coming. This is not shoddy journalism. This is an instance of someone being mislead or manipulated by a source. Or he could actually still be coming and this could all be a mixup.
Also, Brian and Ace have proved over the last month of searchbits that they really do take this quite seriously and have extremely high journalistic integrity. They're allowed to be wrong. It doesn't mean they're bad at their jobs or that they're doing them wrong.
