the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Well, I bought a pair. If only I could had worn these under my suit at my grandpa's funeral last year. Nobody would had questioned the "odd" choice of sock color, lol. |
| 9 weeks 2 days ago | hmmm |
I am going on vacation for a few days tomorrow, I have only had 2 drinks here, but I am oddly considering picking up the blue ones. If they aren't too thick, they might work well under hockey skates as well. |
| 13 weeks 4 days ago | Rating system |
Granted Mathlete's way is great, but personally I liked when Ace did an arbitrary rating of the teams. You can't expect a scientific mathematical aproach every time these rankings are posted, so what's wrong with the commen sense method? |

You must have some serious game dude. Good luck, and I hope you (successfully) fufill your dreams while making your wife a bit jealous of your sucess. As a powerful sucessful female, she will appreciate your accomplishments all the more. |

I know football and basketball recruits aren't represenetive of the university as a whole for better or for worse, but this is MIchigan, one of the elite education venues in the world. The guy has a four year old kid at only 18 years of age. He would probably be three years and out to the NFL. Sure I can support the guy for trying to do good by his family with an NFL salary, but the guy would otherwise likely have no business near a majority of college campuses without his great athletic ability. Yeah the guy made some past mistakes and has been living and learning from them hopefully. Call me elitist I guess, but I love the stories of the Kovacs and Zoltans of Michigan (I know their situations weren't even close, but just commenting on Kovacs obivous walk on to Captain/star status and what Zoltan was able to do during the NFL strike with his education, upbringing, his charity etc.) |

Am I the only person on here who hopes Foster finds relative success somewhere besides Michigan? |

sounds like alabama is having the same "problem" at RB as TAMU is at WR |

What are they going to do with ten wide recievers? I think I heard that right |

Say what you want about our abomination jerseys, but thank GOd we didn't look that bad with the split helmets. |

You know what? It is 3:30 AM, I'm mostly drunk at this point, I had a great dinner, and I had a really nice night hanging out with some good friends and seeing a few I haven't seen in awhile. I am not about to read three pages of comments as this has probably been stated before. Please for the love of God don't change the home uniforms. Minor things here and there like a block M, or "Michigan" on the collar are fine. Hell even the B1G on the shoulder is fine by me. Keep the damn home uniforms a blue jersey with maise (whatever your definition of that actually is) pants. I tolerate some change with the away uniforms, but the home ones are kinda sacred if you ask me. We are hopefully making something out of nothing. |
| 22 weeks 1 day ago | Refute this |
well hey, the fans of a whole didn't ask for Rutgers and Mayland to join. They chose so based on financial incentives and should deal with it accordingly. Blame the conference and hope the B1G deals with it appropriately (which I have my doubts about). |
| 22 weeks 1 day ago | Dude |
Well point 1 might not continue to happen if they are in different divisions and have a rematch the next week for the rose bowl. If they are going to play eachother 2 weeks in a row and the last game of the season is essentially meaningless because both are a lock, why throw it all on the field the first game? If this became the case, michigan-ohio would get moved to october so there is a point to the game rendering tradition bunk.
Point 2 is whoever wins The Game is going to play the other division for the Rose Bowl. The Game still means everything. Plus do you really want to have to beat Ohio twice to get to the rose bowl?. Read earlier coments on how our guaranteed crossover against ohio gives both of us disadvantages. |

Does anybody's elses fan base REALLY count? |
| 22 weeks 1 day ago | Divisional balance? |
What is it with the idiots in the comments on the B1G site blabbering about divisional equality? It isn't sustainable over the long term. Hell it wasn't sustainable over the short term. This subject gets me all pissed off and fired up. As long as they can put Michign and Ohio in the same division and change the hokey names, I'll consider it a victory. |
| 23 weeks 6 days ago | Civic Duty |
I voted on 4G and wifi echoing Seth's proposed divisions. Nobody has really brought up having the championship game on the higher ranked teams home campus though. This feels like voting in real life. I simply think I am just canceling out some idiot's opinion and nothing will really get resolved the way I would like it to. The Big Ten conference is like the EA brand of gaming. All they care about is money, resulting in dumbed down gaming and payable add ons to games which used to be free back in the day. Bioware who is owned by EA atleast listened to the fans after the Mass Effect 3 debacle and attempted to resolve the problem. I will still never by another EA game, sports or otherwise. My point is I hope that the Big Ten officials listen to what we the fans have to say on a subject near and dear to our hearts. Will they? I doubt it though. |

Just noticed in the Kovacs pic that the socks are now Adidas. No more Twin CIty socks apparently. |
| 49 weeks 4 days ago | Valve stem covers |
Anybody else notice the valve stem covers were on C5 Corvette wheels? I'll pass on that paticular application. Also back in high school, a friend bought me a camo Hawaiian Michigan shirt as a gag. Why? I did wear it once becasue it was laughably hideous. |
| 1 year 1 week ago | Band FTW |
Dude, I'm 27 and basically a metalhead so my opinion might not be valid, but I love the marching band!!! I am just not a fan of the piped in music. The band can play anything. |

I am an alum, have been reading this site for a few years, and am also a huge fan of Brian's magizine. I don't lend out my copies as I convinced others to purchase it themselves. I finally decided to join as this is one of my favorite sites, and I think I would like a say in voting in members to Brian's HOF. Also I leave two spaces after periods as I learned to type before 1995. |
