Can Hunter match up against Timme? I think Johns or even Franz would be better on him - They are both still longer than Timme, but have a lot more quickness than Hunter. But then the problem is who to put Hunter on... which means Hunter will almost certainly play Timme.
I feel like Hunter would play Timme pretty well. Hunter does good with his body positioning and Davis would prob matchup pretty well also. Davis vs Timme would be the old school post battle.
Mobley is a top 3 nba pick who has anchored the #1 2 pt defense in the country and is getting toasted. I don’t see anyone doing that well.
I think Mobley is getting beat by old school moves down low and going for blocks a lot. I feel as if Hunter will stay grounded and doesn’t jump a lot anyway. The thing is to play Timme straight up, much like Hunter and live with it. Their movement is too good for teams to double team.
This is all true. But Timme can shot from 3 and Hunter doesn't do well when he has to extend his defense.
I haven't sat down and actually watched a lot of Gonzaga basketball this year, and they largely seem like a pretty likable team, but ho boy it didn't take long for me to reaaaallly get peeved by Timme. Struts, flexes, and otherwise cocks about after literally every basket he makes. Would love Hunter to stuff him in a locker.

I would enjoy watching us match up with them so much. They are great, but they don't scare me.
You basically have to play your best ball against them and not make mistakes. They seem to be on another level this year. Their closest win was 5 points against WVU in December all the others were by double digits. Yes competition caveats apply but they’re making USC look silly who had been dominating in this tournament. I’d like to beat UCLA and face them since it appears they will be the victors tonight but know were we to win tonight it would likely be an extremely tough game.

USC looks like a mess. Doesn’t look like they are running any plays, just making sketchy passes and chucking it up there. They look completely overmatched. I’m about 90% sure Gonzaga is only going at 3/4 speed and they are still whipping them.
