There's also a 2012 OL from Our Lady of Good Counsel named Mike Madaras. He has a number of BCS offers, no real big dogs yet, but a lot of ACC and Big East teams, which makes sense since he's in Maryland.
One of the offers, though, is from Stanford. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. Not a bad chance he's one to watch for UM in the next class.

I went to Gonzaga in DC, which is in the same conference as Good Counsel. They regularly produce good football talent and routinely give us the beatdown in football. A Good Counsel pipeline would be a great thing for Michigan

More excited about him than Dee Hart? At least put them on the same pedestal. Dee is an incredible gifted athlete. If we can retain Dee, we will see the major benefits almost immediately.

I don't get the negs there. He's in a unique situation where both coaches like him and in a time where recruits are holding off commitig he pulled the trigger. Other recruits have commented on the coaching situation. It's not blasphemy to ask his take. People need to relax.

Isn't Good Counsel one of the best HS programs in Maryland on a consitent basis? It would be nice to get a foothold into that program.

First, thanks Tom for always keeping us updated about recruiting, it is much appreciated. Secondly, I am very excited about Blake coming to the maize and blue. I cant wait to see this kid play. I think he is going to be a beast. From the sounds of it, he is a high character kid with a great attitude who loves Michigan. Oh and he's a DB, I think we could use some of those...GO BLUE!

Like me, we're both in the Washington DC area. Unlike me, he regularly goes to high school games in the area. He saw Good Counsel play a couple of times and said Countess is really, really good.
