The Titans beat the Ravens to go to the AFC Championship

Congratulations to Michigan Man Taylor Lewan.  A great man and a good football player too. It looks likely the Titans will face off with Frank Clark and the Chiefs for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Um, the Chiefs still have to play the Texans, who already beat them this year, so....

As a Bears fan, I get to watch two QBs my team could have drafted show why they are both easily better than our guy.

No I haven't (ashamed face). The fact is, that in this game, playing from behind, Jackson had to win with his arm. That was factually not the case except one other game this year, also a Ravens loss. Jackson is awesome, but simply not in the top class of passers in the league. He has to be around the lead and have the run be a factor.

This result puts the Patriots loss last week in a different light.

Perhaps the Patriots lost because the Titans are playing great football... not because the GOAT has lost it.

Catfish gets such an unfair bad rap.  Don't get fresh caught, it's too silty tasting.  Farm raised is much better.  Dip fillets in egg wash and then Andy's cajun breading.  Pan fry for about 6-7 min per side on medium heat (I use olive oil ).  Then place on a cookie sheet with chopped jalapenos and butter pads on top.  The butter will melt through the peppers into the fish.  350 degrees for about 15 min should do it.  Gussy up with tartar sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce and you're ready!

This is obviously such a "get a rise out of people" post, it's not even clever.

Taylor Lewan aside, this was not the result I'd expected by a long shot.  The Niners pwning and suffocating Cousins, Cook and co. however, was predictable.  They look so good.

I don’t exactly agree with your sentiment about Lewan being a great representative for the university (although people can grow and learn from mistakes, Lewan included), but that man can flat out play the game. One of the best LTs in the game right now.

The only thing that has to be worrying  Mike Vrabel right now is the massive payday that Ryan Tannehill is barreling towards. Especially if the Titans win it all. Tannehill is pulling a Joe Flacco / Nick Foles and putting it all together at the exact right time. If the Titans win next week, and then especially win the Super Bowl, Tannehill is going to demand Patrick Mahomes kind of money. And he’ll have the leverage to do so. I’m not sure what kind of cap situation that the Titans are in but they’re going to have to pay Henry big time money too. Have to imagine he’s on the last of his contract or coming up to it, and the Titans can’t afford to let him walk.

Flacco had a great run in the playoffs when the Ravens won the Super Bowl (see here). 11 touchdowns, no interceptions, averaged significantly more yards per game than Tannehill has total in the Titans' two playoff wins.

Tannehill has looked more like Trent Dilfer on the 2000 Ravens. He's played well enough for them to win, but if the Titans need to make a comeback at some point I'm not sure I like their chances.
