Taylor Lewan and Frank Clark aren’t exactly the best representatives of the university.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:04 AM ^
This. I don’t take any pride in either of them being Wolverines.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:10 AM ^
Lewan is a shit human being, but damn can he block and drive someone clear out of the picture.
January 12th, 2020 at 2:10 AM ^
Yeah, he took quite a few people for rides tonight. Savage blocker
January 12th, 2020 at 2:43 AM ^
What a holier than thou statement.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:52 AM ^
They wore the Winged Helmet and played 110% for Michigan. That's good enough for me. They are guys who don't take a lot of crap.
January 12th, 2020 at 9:39 AM ^
“They are guys who don’t take a lot of crap”
Damn straight... that’s why they threaten rape victims and beat up ex girlfriends in front of their children.
Maybe you should up your standards a bit from “they wore the winged helmet”
January 12th, 2020 at 9:22 AM ^
They are successful at their chosen profession and make lots of money. Many on this site equate making lots of money to being a success.
January 11th, 2020 at 11:34 PM ^
Uhhh this won't go over well
January 11th, 2020 at 11:36 PM ^
Hell yeah!! Fuck the Packers!! Taylor Lewan needs a Super Bowl Championship!
January 11th, 2020 at 11:37 PM ^
Titans defense is legit. Beat Brady the GOAT and League MVP Jackson soundly. Derrick Henry can’t stop running over people.
January 11th, 2020 at 11:38 PM ^
Um, the Chiefs still have to play the Texans, who already beat them this year, so....
As a Bears fan, I get to watch two QBs my team could have drafted show why they are both easily better than our guy.
January 12th, 2020 at 6:32 AM ^
One of my golfing buds won't admit Trubisky is a bust. He's an FSU fan so he doesn't want to speak badly of the ACC.
January 12th, 2020 at 11:03 AM ^
As a Bear’s fan, I would stop golfing with that buddy.
January 12th, 2020 at 10:59 AM ^
It's still baffling that everyone collectively decided the guy with like 11 college starts was better than DeShaun Watson. Mahomes put up huge numbers, but I get it, the Big XII can make any QB look like Tom Brady.
But, Trubisky over Watson is one of those things I will never understand.
January 11th, 2020 at 11:40 PM ^
Taylor who???
January 11th, 2020 at 11:41 PM ^
Over 500 yds of total offense and only 12 points??!
January 12th, 2020 at 8:58 AM ^
Lots of garbage time stats for Baltimore and for Jackson. Poor offensive performance all around, but it also showed that Jackson isn't yet ready to beat teams with his arm.
January 12th, 2020 at 9:33 AM ^
Did you watch any nfl football this year? Jackson beat a lot of teams with his arm, and with his legs. He has been pretty much unstoppable all year, the ravens just had a bad game. It happens
January 13th, 2020 at 12:36 PM ^
No I haven't (ashamed face). The fact is, that in this game, playing from behind, Jackson had to win with his arm. That was factually not the case except one other game this year, also a Ravens loss. Jackson is awesome, but simply not in the top class of passers in the league. He has to be around the lead and have the run be a factor.
January 11th, 2020 at 11:44 PM ^
A Buckeye head coach beats a Harbaugh. Titans are hot. Don't think they can take the Chiefs however.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:01 AM ^
Titans already beat the Chiefs once this year
January 12th, 2020 at 10:09 AM ^
Not sure chiefs are a shoo in to beat the Texans
January 11th, 2020 at 11:51 PM ^
This result puts the Patriots loss last week in a different light.
Perhaps the Patriots lost because the Titans are playing great football... not because the GOAT has lost it.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:16 AM ^
IMO the Pats lost because the offense was as depleted as it has ever been in the Brady/Belickek era, and also because the defense was good but not as great as the stats would suggest.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:37 AM ^
Good points.
Brady doesn't have a decent OL or good receiving targets.
So the Pats lost in part due to these shortcomings but also because they played a good team that just beat what looked like the top team in the NFL this year and their young superstar QB, the probable NFL MVP.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:57 AM ^
We know why they signed Antonio Brown after all his silliness at Oakland, before the really bad stuff came out.
January 12th, 2020 at 11:34 AM ^
Were the Dolphins just playing great football too?
January 11th, 2020 at 11:58 PM ^
Rashan Gary will suit up tomorrow for the Packers against Delano Hill and Bryan Mone for the Seahawks. Should be a good game.
January 11th, 2020 at 11:58 PM ^
List of reasons Lewan is a great man:
1.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:07 AM ^
He throws catfish on the ice at the Predators games.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:04 AM ^
He poured a beer down a dead catfish's gullet, turned it upside down and drank from it. Gross but ballsy
January 12th, 2020 at 2:53 AM ^
If it was a PBR, it probably improved the taste.
January 12th, 2020 at 9:39 AM ^
Catfish gets such an unfair bad rap. Don't get fresh caught, it's too silty tasting. Farm raised is much better. Dip fillets in egg wash and then Andy's cajun breading. Pan fry for about 6-7 min per side on medium heat (I use olive oil ). Then place on a cookie sheet with chopped jalapenos and butter pads on top. The butter will melt through the peppers into the fish. 350 degrees for about 15 min should do it. Gussy up with tartar sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce and you're ready!
January 12th, 2020 at 10:39 AM ^
‘Cause nothing gussies up a meal like mayonnaise and pickle relish!
January 12th, 2020 at 12:04 AM ^
I still wanted a HARBAUGH to win. I has a sad.
January 12th, 2020 at 1:06 AM ^
Henry is great back
Can Michigan haz one soon
Long for running game
January 12th, 2020 at 8:02 AM ^
We have "one" wait till #24 gets built up this winter , and he will be a load next year
January 12th, 2020 at 1:30 AM ^
This is obviously such a "get a rise out of people" post, it's not even clever.
Taylor Lewan aside, this was not the result I'd expected by a long shot. The Niners pwning and suffocating Cousins, Cook and co. however, was predictable. They look so good.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:16 AM ^
Fuck the Ravens. And fuck Art Modell, while I am on the subject. Nice to see them lose.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:47 AM ^
All I will say is that this was not the overall result that I had envisioned, so now I owe my mother $10.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:59 AM ^
To be fair, we all owe our mothers more than $10.
January 12th, 2020 at 8:50 AM ^
Lewan was cheering on the preds during their run. I wonder if the preds are doing the same
January 12th, 2020 at 8:56 AM ^
I don’t exactly agree with your sentiment about Lewan being a great representative for the university (although people can grow and learn from mistakes, Lewan included), but that man can flat out play the game. One of the best LTs in the game right now.
The only thing that has to be worrying Mike Vrabel right now is the massive payday that Ryan Tannehill is barreling towards. Especially if the Titans win it all. Tannehill is pulling a Joe Flacco / Nick Foles and putting it all together at the exact right time. If the Titans win next week, and then especially win the Super Bowl, Tannehill is going to demand Patrick Mahomes kind of money. And he’ll have the leverage to do so. I’m not sure what kind of cap situation that the Titans are in but they’re going to have to pay Henry big time money too. Have to imagine he’s on the last of his contract or coming up to it, and the Titans can’t afford to let him walk.
January 12th, 2020 at 10:02 AM ^
If the Titans win the super bowl, that’s good enough to not worry about the next decade lol
January 12th, 2020 at 10:45 AM ^
I don’t think Tannehill is the one putting it together. Less than 100 yards passing in each of the last two games.
January 12th, 2020 at 12:37 PM ^
Flacco had a great run in the playoffs when the Ravens won the Super Bowl (see here). 11 touchdowns, no interceptions, averaged significantly more yards per game than Tannehill has total in the Titans' two playoff wins.
Tannehill has looked more like Trent Dilfer on the 2000 Ravens. He's played well enough for them to win, but if the Titans need to make a comeback at some point I'm not sure I like their chances.
January 12th, 2020 at 9:09 AM ^
The Ravens really Michiganed that game.
Jackson didn't look that good.
January 12th, 2020 at 9:28 AM ^
Ravens lost. Fire everyone!
