My quarterly financial reporting meeting just got pushed to tomorrow... Not feeling as good as I could be anymore.  No more Michigan jersey and jeans tomorrow at work... unless I want it to be my last day at this company.

Once I learned (way back when) that they EAT FROZEN ANIMAL BONE like it's nothing and can straight MURDER CARIBOU (Maybe a metaphor for beating Wisconsin???), I was like HAHA nope. Stupid OSU fans that compare them to skunks should be forced to spend 5 minutes with them in a cage.

Kanell just had Hawaii Coach Nick Rolovich on the radio. They flew 10 straight hours last night and landed this morning.  He seems like a cool guy - his tone was basically to enjoy the opportunity to play Michigan in the Big House but knows he is going to get trucked.

There was also a story the media spread about Harbaugh denying Hawaii game tape (which is apparently customary).  Rolovich put an end to that mess by saying he was kidding.  In jest he requested film of their recent practice tape to help make the game fairer and the media blew it way out of proportion as they are so good at doing.

He also talked a bit about the pre-game QB challenge between himself and Harbaugh. He is not sure what it will entail but did say it might happen - all in fun though.

How can you make that argument when the B1G East rivals the SEC West?  And one of our crossover games is against last year's B1G West champ?  The "best running game" argument had me skeptical of this writer.  This final argument has me never to read this guy's content again.

Look, I believe. I believe this team can be as good as it wants. And I think the guys on the team know they are good and want desperately to demonstrate that. We all feed off of what we know and expect and so it's always interesting to see how otthers view the program. This preview comes closest to how many of us feel about things.

I think all the questions about this team surround the offense the quarterback play and the ability to make plays when it counts. There will  be be lots of challenges  both offensively and defensively. I think we will march into EL and terminate that team with extreme prejudice. I think Iowa and a raucous Kinnick Stadium crowd will push this team to the limit and Michigan will rebound and punch Ohio State in the mouth.

I really want to see a 2006 season with a different outcome in Columbus as the endgame. I think with all that has transpired with this program, we will have more than earned that opportunity for success should it come about. Time to set an early example against Hawaii of what this team can and will be.

The simple truth is that the “What has Harbaugh actually done?” narrative might be the single, dumbest one in college football entering the season. What has Harbaugh done at Michigan?

I can agree with him here - this is probably one of the single dumbest questions non-fans asked from about January onwards. I think a lot of people focus so much on the record that they either forget that a team is a culture, or indeed, they may refuse to acknowledge that. Either way, both are important, and one suffers when the other is in disarray. Bringing them into some equilibrium is not easy, but Harbaugh seems to have more or less achieved that part of it in a year.

Best point I hadn't heard, yet: "Yes, Michigan’s three toughest games (Iowa, Michigan State and Ohio State) are all on the road, and yes that does concern me. At the same time, if there was ever a year to get those three teams away from the Big House, doesn’t this feel like it?"
