thumbs in the middle for new voting system
Thumbs squarely in the middle!
Really, I don't think is going to be a big deal. Unless the hot MGoBlog groupies that are crawling all over Ann Arbor on Saturdays in the fall are really turned on by our official MGoBlog T-Shirts that have our point totals on them ...
I hope it doesn't turn into a digg atmosphere where people are worried about the points they accumulate. If that doesn't happen, we're golden.
duderino;
hey, i just slamed a deep dish chitown style with my brah Howie Dean and Davie Souter, but don't worry homie while there all greased out im all passing laws and shit. Jesus fucking christ I know how to comment
I would never say duderino, duderino
Wow, someone is being sized up for a skin suit.
duderino, he/she/it better hurry up because with all this pizza I'm eating the measurements are going to be way off.
Sincerely,
Duderino chrisgocoment
P.S. Jesus Fucking Christ I know how to coment
confused as to how Chrisgocomment had negative points, so then I started to give him positive points. Then I realized there was a fake and I still gave the real one positive points for having an imposture. That being said, I'm jealous that nobody has tried to imposture me!
If nobody has tried it may be because you already have poor posture.
p.s. I gave you +1 for the opportunity to make a snide remark. Be kind :)
I was hoping someone would say something. Therefore, +1 goes back to you
I have no problem with the point system that has been instituted here, and in fact wish many other message boards/blogs that I frequent used it. The only problem I have is that every time I post within 20 min I lose that point and can not get above 7, thus keeping me from creating any new threads. So if I have a question about something I have to try to find a post that I can try to fit it into, even if it really does not pertain to the original post.
I understand it is to keep nonsense posts down and keep the stupid from creating 1000's of topics, I just think it is very difficult to try to accumulate points. I would like to see something put in that makes it so when so when someone drops you a point they need to give a reason and it shows who dropped you. Maybe this would help enlighten some of us who loses points a lot as to why we have lost our point for the post.
Maybe you caught their attention? You look like you're fine now.
Lol. You make a good point.
can you show me, in picture form, what "thumbs in the middle" looks like?
You know in elementary school when you would play paper football at the cafeteria table at lunch, and you made the little goalposts with the tips of your thumbs meeting, parallel to the tabletop? I guess the index fingers pointing up are optional....
Our goal posts had index fingers meeting with thumbs up. Norwood must have gone to my school.
special ed kids did it at my school. Please don't ask how I know that.
our official MGoBlog T-Shirts that have our point totals on them ...
do they come in XXL?
They come in three sizes- XXL, XXXL, and Garbage Bag
Then you'd better sign me up for a Steelsack.
Those point counters are going to be digital and updated by satellite, right?
On the back we could have it say "______ MGoBlog User" where ____ equals:
20-plus = "Douchey"
10 to 19 = "Whiney"
1 to 9 = "Poser"
0 to -9 = "Questionable"
-10 to -19 = "Lightning Rod"
20+ = "Speaks the 'Truth' you can't handle"
I realize there isn't a level for posters of supreme awesomeness, but I have complete and utter confidence in Six-Zero to come up with his own t-shirt.
Also, for those who were around for Haloscan, we present an old-school version:
"Tremendous" MGoBlog User
Now that is funny...is the XXL for your body size or the prodigious amount of points to your name?
this thread rocks
Wish I could write as well as you. I would be willing to transfer all my points to you for some writing lessons, that would put you right up there with Mich1997.
sweet - i would look awesome with something in the mid teens...
Why do I see no thumbs?
20 points to start a new topic, write a blog, or do a up or down vote.
