9ers-Seahawks.  Afternoon at in-Laws. 5am early wake-up coming up to go after beer (not Bourbon County, actually).

Revolution Double Barrel VSOD now.  Burgers for supper here in a bit?  Onto some Hop Butcher IPA.

Losing money on Draftkings also.  Basketball team is too frustrating for my blood right now.  I hope they improve and don't doubt they will but I fear not enough to matter.  We'll see.  But November basketball is too volatile.

Had a pork tenderloin. I reduced a pint can of apple cider down to create a glaze. It was...perfect. Watching Michigan/ Stanford, having some tea, and dipping into the marzipan soon. It's been a great day.

Flipping back and forth between Michigan and the 49ers game, in the basement while wife and MIL are watching something nonsports upstairs. Drinking water. Desperate for Saturday to get here.

The kids are singing and dancing, rocking out right now.  Football on in the background.  Suspect dessert is coming soon.  Really nice to have all the kids home.  The times grow more rare.

All the kids together is the best!  I abandoned the Mr. and three daughters/families to spend the day in Norman, OK, with my son and his family (which includes a one-month old granddaughter I was frantic to meet).  Lots of noise and food, but also lots of holding a sleeping baby.  Plus Facetime with the family back at home.  Now I'm watching M v. Stanford and amazed we're up at the half.

I watched a bit of the Egg Bowl but Miss St needs another Leach to make the rivalry interesting, unless Lane gets 10 million per year to take over TAMU.
