I kinda wonder if he's still not fully recovered from his injuries? Or maybe they're bringing him back really slowly?

I also wondered this same thing, because I think they should take a deep shot to him.

He was the most ready when Nico, DPJ and he were freshmen. Then he got injured and lost playing time while the other guys got the time, experience and practice withe QB’s, thus they are now ahead of him. The end.

I dont think hes the same player he was before those injuries...that could be because hes lost a step or it could be because he doesnt push the envelope much due to the NFL being a possibility down the road. I would like to see some deep throws to him like Collins gets because I think that's where hes best

Tarik Black had a drop or 2 in the Ohio State game last year, and then followed that up with the dropped TD against Florida. He started this year off with quite a few drops, including 3 or 4 of them in the endzone. After that, we started seeing more and more of Ronnie Bell. Ronnie Bell has been listed as a starter, along with DPJ and Collins ever since.

Black legit isnt a great player..

He's slower than fuck and is just a possession receiver.  He won't be leaving for the draft early at least so he has a chance to improve

He just needs to regain his confidence. Having those breaks in his foot really hurt his development but there is still time and he make become important if one of our wide outs leave for the NFL.
