That's prob an average amount of free throws at Cameron for them, exactly why rarely lose there. They had 6 turnovers in ot, even the refs couldn't fix this one

Yes. A tournament 16 seed is much better than the 250th team in the country, and there are no home games in the tourney. This was much less likely.

UMBC was around 100 in Kenpom but not all 16 seeds are way better then 250. Go back and look at old Kenpom rankings. Just about every year there are one or more 16 seeds around 250 in kenpom.

Sadly enough this moves Louisville to number 1 and Kansas to number 2 in the polls...neither of those programs deserve it either. I'd have to go with Maryland out of top 5 teams to root for
