I don't mean to make light of this story. Probably as emotional a situation as can be. And I like and respect Steve Nash. This story is so odd, I don't know what to make of it.
How embarassing for both players, but obviously moreso for Nash. Could be another rumor though -- there's a link to a previous article below that one saying that they originally thought Leandro Barbosa was the dad. If they were wrong then, they could probably be wrong now.

Why, exactly should he take care of the baby? This isn't a situation where a guy is coming into a relationship and his wife/girlfriend already has a kid and he may become the stepdad. This is just slightly different. J Rich should be the one taking care of the baby, if it is indeed his.

Just googled Steve Nash and looked under news to get more info and there is nothing about this unless this is old news. Everything that comes up is purely basketball related.
I clicked on your link, which led to another link, which stated, "Steve Nash Black Baby Revealed: It’s White all Right" with a picture of a white baby.

This contains rumors it was Nash cheating on his wife, not the other way around. I'm sure it will turn out to be Grant Hill's baby, and Jalen Rose will then somehow be involved.
I have no idea what is true, but I do know I am now sorry I spent 5 minutes on this.

I'm not taking a shot at the OP, but I hate that so much sports journalism is now the equivalent of People magazine.
It's not their fault for writing it; it's our fault for reading it. If it didn't get clicks or sell units, it wouldn't be written.
Is it just me or doesn't it seem that someone like nash could get way better than his ex-wife? J-rich could get better as well....
