Son's 1st Michigan Game - Baby Bottles Allowed?
Taking our 8 month old to the Rutgers game tonight for his 1st Michigan sporting event. Don't worry I do not expect to stay and/or watch the whole game. We just thought it would be fun to take him around the arena and the atmosphere shouldn't be too crazy.
One question I did have for the experienced MgoParents out there, do you know if baby bottles allowed to be brought into Crisler? I looked on the site, and it says no containers of any kind are allowed inside, but my wife seems to think they must at least allow baby bottles. Any help from prior experience would be greatly appreciated!
I'm thinking about bringing a baby bottle full of whiskey. Do I need a baby too or do you think they'll let it slide?

seeing powder might be more alarming to security than bottles, even though it's formula
If your wife is going she can just breast feed him

Cargo embargo.
that the official rule page you so snarkily posted are not in line with the actual enforcement of the rules (or at least according to a person who claims to be a bag checker right below you), making the snark not only extra snarky, but also uselessly snarky.

I was going to Michigan basketball games with my parents from when I was probably 3 or 4 years old. I was four for my first football game, too. And we had a great time. Why wait until first grade?
And I'm happy to report that he did great during the game, loves his new baby M hat, and he even got a cameo on the #livefromcrisler scoreboard shoutout!
every kid is different and only the parents can know their child's temperment. My kid would have gone insane in a loud sporting enviornment before 2 years old.
I kinda doubt they'd give you much hassle, especially if you have it pre-made. I haven't taken my daughter to a sporting event but when we flew we had breast milk in bottles and nobody seemed to care much.
about a sippy cup full of regular water. They just swabbed the bottle with some cloth and tested it. I'm not sure if that's a new TSA rule or they are just kind to babies.
BTW, Play Doh is also allowed, it just gets tested too.

the game starts right about now...it's not a night game!
I should have taken my 17 year old to a Michigan game when he was young and would have started the indoctrination then.
Now he's 17 (we did take him to the App State opener last year along with a campus visit), but he's not sold on Michigan and is leaning toward Virginia (we live in VA).
I've obviously failed as a father.
It happens even to the best of us.
I can see that :-)
