Don't know if anyone saw this, a quick MGoSearch revealed nothing, but Brady Hoke was invited as part of Tennessee's staff to Lane Kiffin's satellite camp in Boca Raton. Apparently he was difficult to recognize due to the weight loss...

He is an elite position coach, but I know what you meant.
Sorry but I wouldn't even say he's an elite position coach anymore. His DLs at Michigan, aside from the end of Year 1, were decent. Could usually slow down a decent run game, but they had zero notable pass rush.
There's a reason that guys like Gary Nova through for over 400 yards against Hoke's defense. Absolutely no pass rush whatsoever.
Maybe his units will improve now that this is all he has to focus on, but I'm not convinced he's still as good a DL coach as he was 20 years ago.

him. Hope he's feeling great and wish him nothing but success. He's a good man who loved Michigan as much as any fan and brought some great recruits to Ann Arbor. The cheap shots that he continues to be subjected to have never been a good look.

Anyone who has battled weight issues first has to recognize there is a problem, then correct it. That is awesome that he's slimmed down which I'm sure will help him live a longer, happier life (wherever else the coaching carosuel may take him.)
