Doubtful, Guy and Giudice(especially Guy) have potential but Michigan is their best offer coach or no coach. Would be shocked if they had gone elsewhere.

I think it’s more about the kid and the available options as opposed to which coach is staying and which one isn’t. Guidice is a lower profile kid who has a Michigan scholarship, whereas Somerville had a ton of offers to choose from when he committed. So the uncertainty of the future may sway him differently.

Last month? I'm a very patient man and I gave up on him when he had a whole year to adjust to OSU's 62 point shellacking and came back with... a 56 point shellacking.

His defense also held them to 0 points this year. Glad we got that 5* DT Covid-19, a true difference maker!

I know this was a joke, but I'll nitpick anyway ... the 56 was even worse as it didn't include a special teams TD nor two 20-yard drives after INTs, as the 62 did.

I read an interesting article on 247 along the lines of approximately 260 of the top 300 recruits signed early the past 2 years. I'm curious who will be left as potential targets after today.

This may be one of the few years that you may find under the radar talent after early signing day considering that many recruits didn't really have a senior season/camp circuit and so didn't have their profile rise the way they could have in a regular year.

4* OL Drew Kendall and 4* DT George Rooks are two that are likely to make a decision in February.
Also looking to flip 4* DB Omarion Cooper, who may or may not make his decision today. Same goes for 4* DB Ceyair Wright.

Giudice is projected there, and it appears to be more of the same hoping DE's bulk up to play inside. It hasn't worked well yet, but they clearly have no intention of changing it.

Not to add to the doom around here, but is this the most depressing (in terms of site activity) signing day ever? No front page post, this thread has like 20 posts. This program needs a boost bad and really quick. There is nothing worse that a fanbase that just doesn't care anymore.

I just can't seem to get myself hyped for it at all this year.....
I so want to believe but I just have zero faith in this coaching staff to develop even some of this top talent. I'll watch next season, I'll buy gear. I just don't have it in me to get hyped for stuff like signing day, the start of fall camp, etc. I hate that's where I'm at but here we are.

If Brown is canned let's then hope there are some DT who didn't sign early, to poach. Because no DT in three of four years, as a poster below said, is real trouble.
