"I want to win for my dad."  Shooter's son (said through shaky voice).

"Let's win for coach; who got us here."  Buddy (who frankly grew from a snotty kid who walked out of the first practice to a lock-down defender and adequate ball distributor at guard).

"Ok.  Ok.  Reverand..."  Coach

"And David put his hand in the bag and took out a stone and slung it. And it struck the Villanova Wildcat on the head and he fell to the ground. Amen."

it was a good read and quite in depth, but I couldn't help but think it came across a little bit heavy on the "look what he left behind" angle.  At one point, I was thinking, "man, this article seems like it'd make Duncan feel bad".  Hopefully everything really is as all good as the conclusion implies and he has his old buddies there to support him setting the San Antonio nets on fire.

Seems fitting that Duncan Robinson will be playing the Final Four in San Antonio, the NBA home of Spurs greats Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

MUST be one of the hardest working people on the planet. MUST have a thick skin. MUST have the resilience of a...whatever has rally lots of resilience.

I wondred about this guy coming in, and he stuck it out, and has turned into a guy who I think will be arning a paycheck at the next level.
