But they seem like an outlier. All 11 of their starters are in their third year in the program or more, which is not normal nowadays.

The biggest change I'd like to see is to slow down the hurryup offenses (except at the end of a half/game). Defenses should be able to have time to get their substitutions in. It's more tiring to play defense to begin with, so when you don't have a chance to substitute, that's a killer.

The cool thing is we'll know after tonight if that D was legit or their schedule was weak. Same goes for the OSU offense.
December 7th, 2013 at 5:10 PM ^
I'm still interested but it's definitely getting out of kilter. Offenses have too much of an advantage nowadays.
December 7th, 2013 at 4:57 PM ^
I'm sure Auburn could score on FSU, but I don't think they would have any chance of stopping them.

CBS games are good for that one thing I guess.

That is an unique skill set.

Ever hear of a guy named Bobby Gassoff?

We joked about his long decision making process a few years ago, but I really wish we had him now.

I like Auburn's coaching aggressiveness. We need just a little more of that. I like their speed up offense, going for it on 4th, onside kick. Asspects of the misdirection running attack. Yeah, I kind of like it all.
Might be rooting for Missouri.
The only reason I would root Auborn is if they could unseat Ohio (won't happen).

Exactly what I was thinking. This game is not making the SEC look good at all. A lot of major misakes rather than great plays.
December 7th, 2013 at 5:10 PM ^
That play was a disaster from the get go.
December 7th, 2013 at 5:12 PM ^
How is texas/baylor only 3 - 3 at halftime? What vortex did we enter where a Big 12 game featuring Greg Robinson and Baylor's defense could every be low scoring?

They were letting anyone in free who just showed up to the stadium.

Bad, bad, defense.
December 7th, 2013 at 5:19 PM ^
combo looks as good as OSU's.

runs plays faster? Auburn is really impressive in that way--in my mind they're as impressive as Oregon has ever been for time between plays.

Hyde is Hombre.

Punters have been banned from the SEC
December 7th, 2013 at 5:21 PM ^
But because it's the SEC, this kind of game is just about how tough the conference is, that they're playing big boy football, and everyone else is just fighting to catch up.

3-3 Texas/Baylor at half.
Proving without a shadow of doubt that changing coordinators midseason is sure to be a total disaster. Glad Michigan stayed the course and didnt get baited into making a switch. Look how crappy Texas's defense is playing now.
December 7th, 2013 at 5:26 PM ^
Because the weather has had absolutely no impact on the game so far...
December 7th, 2013 at 5:29 PM ^
He was familiar with Texas' personnel. Can you name an former OC who was in a similiar position to help Michigan??

Mike Debord
Stan Parrish
Gary Moeller
Other than those three guys? Nobody. You got me.

That wouldn't having today with Baylor losing Tevin Reese would it now or the weather?? Baylor hasn't been anywhere near the same since he went down.
