lets not talk about juniors in highschool, i beg..
September 3rd, 2009 at 3:03 PM ^
Actually, there is a dearth of kids with Michigan on their lists; let's hope it's cause Coach said he didn't want to talk about juniors just yet and hasn't officially started recruiting them.

Rod hasn't started recruiting juniors yet, then I would seriously worry about his intelligence, because you have to be in on these kids as early as possible. Unless, of course, you were being sarcastic.

no demetrius hart either. doesn't look like a great year instate.
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:29 PM ^
God, whatever happened to Hart being good enough to be in the 2009 Top 100 as a Sophomore? I'm positive I read that somewhere
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:50 PM ^
he can always work his way on to that list. buy 5 star types are usually highly rated from the beginning.
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:37 PM ^
Do you mean the state of Florida? Because he's from Florida.
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:24 PM ^
Greg Brown is given a 1 star which means that they have not reviewed enough tape IIRC. He is listed as an ESPNU 150 Watchlister.
September 3rd, 2009 at 1:39 PM ^
But he is currently not on Scout's Top 100 (which means absolutely nothing). I just wanted to point out the fact that:
1. Brown wasn't on it (since he just committed)
2. That Stanford has 3 players!!! STANFORD on it!
September 3rd, 2009 at 2:06 PM ^
to be talking about rating the guys. Its more of a watchlist then anything else.
Greg Brown probably shouldn't be on it -- high three star guy.
Demetrius Hart should be on it, I think he will be when its all said and done.
Stanford should always recruit well -- there are a lot of recruits out there who have parents who really want them to go to Stanford. With Stanford offering a ton of guys early, they naturally would grab a few commitments early.
They've shown to have a little problem holding on, though.

RR should probably be recruiting this kid...

to go after someone from San Diego. I would definitely have to check out a game or two and get back to you guys about it.

Run stoppah!!!
September 3rd, 2009 at 2:31 PM ^
He's offering to let incoming freshmen take a dump in his $60,000 crapper if they meet certain performance goals.
September 3rd, 2009 at 2:33 PM ^
will problaby go up once he gets his learners permit...
i mean come on guys...
September 3rd, 2009 at 2:36 PM ^
Has someone in the class of 2011 even played more than a single Varsity game at this point? Let's at least wait until the class of 2010 is in the books.
September 3rd, 2009 at 3:56 PM ^
Let 'em finish their junior season. By that time maybe their acne will have cleared up and they can grow some peach fuzz on their chin.
September 3rd, 2009 at 2:45 PM ^
A number of these kids will have abysmal junior years and will never be heard from again. Let's not go insane.
September 3rd, 2009 at 4:04 PM ^
A basic top 4, based on offers would look something like this, (in whatever order)
WR Kasen Williams
TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins
OT Tyler Moore
RB Aaron Green
Jenkins actually received 14 written offers on Sept. 1st
