Scott Frost Would Rather Be Playing Any Other Team From Michigan

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

Just saw this quote that he gave earlier this week to the Orlando Sentlnel:

"If you'd ask me whether I'd like to play Michigan or some other team in Michigan that might not be ranked in the top 10 in the country, I might not give you an honest answer on that," Frost said with a sly grin. "But listen, this game is on the schedule. I don't want our kids to be afraid to play anybody. I think our guys are excited to go up there and look that challenge in the face and take swings at them."

So, in one breath he says he's afraid to play Michigan, and in the next breath he says he doesn't want his kids to be afraid to play Michigan.

Sorry, Scotty, but you aren't coming up here to play Ferris State or Hillsdale.

And listen to your coach, boys. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

You'll find the article here.

It's too UCF changed their mascot, since Scott Frost is a dead ringer for the Citronaut. And like the Citronaut, Scott Frost cannot resist the feel of his own ass. Recruits are said to find this quite off-putting.

What a garbage quote for his kids to read. Everything you say in the media is you coaching your kids, and this is bascially saying he wishes they didn't have to show up.

His time would be better spent writing a letter to the scoreboard and asking it to be not objective.

Frost siad in his interview that he likes to run tempo.  The thing with tempo is that you better be scoring some points on those quick drives because your defense is going to be on the field a lot, ala Ole Miss.

We'll grind that UCF defense to paste if they put it out there for 100 plays.

I want everyone to finish the game heathly. Win by more then 35 or so, and go vanilla. We don't need anymore injuries. There are bigger fish to fry.

This guys was a tool in 97. Still the same.

We are really stretching for bulletin board material if a respectful comment about the team followed by a description of the mentality every single coach in the country wants to instill in his program is somehow a problem for us.

This was about as inoffensive as it gets.

The artcile goes on to say this:

If anything, they (Michigan fans) should be sore at Peyton Manning for passing for a 131 measly yards in his college finale, or Vols coach Phil Fulmer, who is suspected of being the scoundrel who voted Michigan No. 4 on his final ballot, or Huskers coach Tom Osborne.

If they only knew.  If they only knew.
