Minnesota and Indiana both look great. Gonna have our hands full with both.

Yeah, just came to edit my post. They go off like dynamite and if you're gonna win there, you better be ready to weather a firestorm.

Assembly Hall's loud as hell when Indiana's good. Probably the tougest place to play in the Big 10.
January 12th, 2013 at 12:58 PM ^
They don't give a shit about anything at Indiana other than basketball and boozing. The two go well together. I've been for a few games. Assembly is always insane.

Does anyone have a stream for IU/Minn? First row sports isn't working.

It could wok against them as they might not be tested a well as they need to be, who knows.
They do seem penciled in for DC in Sweet 16, hope they'll have FLA & L'ville in their brackets, they are in the east afterall

It will be a 3 horse race in the B1G, with slight advantage to U-M & Ind

He can shoot.

each with a Directv Box, I know I'm spoiled, helps me catch a lot of stuff from the announcers. When they were advertising Mich v Minn, Vitale didn't compliment us at all, that guy has alterior motives in a pathetic way, I'm used to it by now with him.
It doesn't matter to me, just sharing the onservation, he's definitely biased, he's an emotional guy, we're biased about our teams too, we're just not on TV, we are on a super cool blog tho, amiright?

I flicked to the Duke game for 5 mins, come back and IU is up by 17?? What the hell happened?
January 12th, 2013 at 12:41 PM ^
Hulls is on fire and Minny's turned it over multiple times.

Watford's the key to that team. If he plays to his abilities, they're really tough to beat.

he's working on a new album? R Kelly that is
I think I'm happy about Ind winning like this right now, Minn was starting to worry me more, knocks them down a peg and maybe they'll be less confident against us, less swaggar
January 12th, 2013 at 12:50 PM ^
When we play IND, that's gonna be fun to watch. We'll be able to run up and down the court cause they like that style too.
It could be epic
January 12th, 2013 at 1:05 PM ^
I don't think we should try to run with them. We shouldn't do what Nebraska did, but we've got a much better chance if the game's in the 60s vs a game in the 80s.

IU on a ridiculous run the past 10+ minutes; looks like they go through their own "unstoppable" phases just like us. Going to be an awesome matchup on February 2nd.

Indiana is scary this afternoon.
How Duke is no. 1 with their piss poor schedule of nothing opponents is a joke.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:05 PM ^
I've been sitting here for the past several minutes comparing the major offensive and defensive stats of Indiana, Minnesota and Duke, and without having done a formal tally, I can say right now that statistically Indiana is the overall best of the three when it comes to winning these comparisons, with Minnesota a respectable second. That being said, there are not huge variations between the three anywhere up and down the chart, so it isn't as if Duke seriously lags in one category (indeed, they do lead in some categories). Duke commits the fewest personal fouls of the three on average, so I suppose there is that.
I was watching Duke-NC State - the line on this game was actually Duke -2, I think.

OSU, Louisville, Kentucky.. and undefeated.
vs.
Loss to Butler... and blow out of the worst UNC team in a decade.
January 12th, 2013 at 12:57 PM ^
Also Minnesota, who outside of today's performance has been great. Personally I think we lose in the Barn next week.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:19 PM ^
I knew I'd forget something if I didn't look at the schedule.
I agree that it will be tough to win next week. They won't turn it over like this again. It always seemed that Minny was an unreasonably tough out at their place. Someone found one way to try to quantify this here:
January 12th, 2013 at 12:57 PM ^
Duke has already beaten:
OSU
UK
Minnesota
Louisville
Those are nothing opponents? I hate Duke like any rational person but come on.
