have the players best interest in mind?  The agents are going to lose big money if rookie contracts and bonuses are unremarkable.  Money talks…I think agents will have the upper hand in that argument.

Either way, I'm hoping they stay so in 2012 we have their [underclassmen] lack of experience on our side.

.....a minor league farm system for the NFL. Sure, they have great players in the conference, and football overall is good in the SEC, but they do not prepare, nor do they care to prepare their athletes, for any sort of life beyond the sport.

How much do I hate the SEC itself? I would support my son/daughter going to tOSU over any school in the SEC(save for maybe Vanderbilt).

How is Saban incorrect in his assessment?

And who would be complaining here about this article if you replaced "Nick Saban" with "Rich Rodriguez"?

Gee whiz.

I don't really understand - whether this is on or off topic - what the point of the OT label is.   If in reading the Titles it's not clear what the post contains then I get it.   If it says that Saban is a tool it seems it's pretty clear what the post is about and each person can determine if that's on or off topic enough.

The use of OT when something is clearly OT adds nothing in my opinion.

Don't players(the rock solid 1st rounders) who enter the draft get loans well in advance of actually getting drafted? I thought most agents front them some money.

Labor uncertainty? My car needs spinners like yesterday.

If he is truly worried about whether the players are going to be adequately prepared then why wouldn't he say that he will advise those players who need more preparation not to enter the draft.  Where the players are projected, (top half 1st round) is mostly about talent in the NFL.  I just don't get his team's evaluation process if the major concern here is not attending OTA's and mini camp.
