Rumors from a random Reddit user.
A random user on Reddit's /r/CFB claims to have a family member high up at MSU who has a relative in the Michigan AD. Says that Harbaugh will be announced on the 29th and at the basketball game on the 30th. Seems to just be a rehash of already well assumed rumors, but figured it would be at least something to pass the time away as we recover from all the Christmas cookies and family overload this evening. Here is the post on Reddit.

If true, that would be like hitting the jackpot. Unfortunately, I think it's a just another rumor to add to the mountainous pile we've already amassed during this coaching search.

UCLA uses the quarter system, and the Spring quarter doesn't start until the end of March. Spring practice is in the Spring quarter.

I think our best chance at stealing or flipping recruits come with Durkin at Florida. Cece Jefferson would be a big get if he could convince him. I'm definitely getting waaay ahead of myself. Also IMAN MARSHALL!

That could be our version of Andrew Luck under Harbaugh's tutelage. You think Malzone would still come if this happens?
Imagine the competition between Morris, Malzone and Rosen. We'd be quarterback U again.

But if he isn't Harbaughs guy he just isn't, I don't know either way.

However, adding someone like Rosen to the class is also a no-brainer if it's possible. There's always going to be a competition for playing time. I don't that would dissuade Malzone from sticking.

he split league MVP honors of the trinity league with a quaterback named nick robinson who is a senior at JSerra h.s. nick is the nephew of greg robinson (ytgr).
somewhere in there 'harbaugh to michigan' can be gleaned.

matt robinson, who i see as an even better athlete than nick.
who was the other michigan qb that went to JSerra?

I think they typo'd and meant Josh Brolin.

Echo chamber. We almost made it through Christmas Day without a Harbaugh rumor post.

Well we were a finalist for Rosen, and I imagine he looks at the work Harbaugh has done with QBs and sees a guy that could develop him into a high NFL draft pick. If I'm a QB I'm calling Harbaugh and begging to play for him.

For now though, Rosen has his sights set squarely on finishing his senior season on a strong note. He's told the UCLA coaches that they don't need to use their weekly recruiting call on him if the time can be better spent recruiting other prospects and said that from Sunday through Friday, his focus is fully on his Bosco team.Doesn't sound like he is too interested in looking around... but that was two months ago.

who knows this guy, who's brother knows another guy who is best friend with JH. JH told his best friend that he was coming to Michigan and it got all the way back to my Uncle who told me Today on Christmas that Harbaugh will be here in Ann Arbor next Tuesday to announce that he will be Michigan's next coach!

In other news, Sam Webb went up to 80% today.
My updated Harbaugh-to-Michigan odds - 80%. And as I've been saying... the odds increase with every day that passes with no change of heart.

...I am choosing to believe EVERY positive rumor about JH, no matter the source, and ignore EVERY negative rumor, no matter the source.
This is what it's come to. Blind optimism. What the hell. It beats the alternative.

Usually these threads aren't well liked, but the OP on Reddit has gotten pretty positive feedback. Also, RedditCFB on Twitter is using this as a source in their last tweet about Harbaugh taking the job. For whatever reason, people don't seem to be against this one.

but the mods on reddit could have received something from that poster as validation for the claim that they accepted but didn't require it be public. They've done that quite a few times with sketchier or controversial AMA posts.
