Rumor: Carlos Hyde feeling Blue

(Disclaimer about grains and salt.)

A friend of mine who also happens to be an OSU fan told me that he heard a rumor on the radio regarding Carlos Hyde thinking about transferring to Michigan.  I asked if he meant Dunn, but he reiterated that he meant Hyde.

I know that Hyde has been pretty vocal about his disappointment with the Buckeyes and his role in the offense.  That much is open information down here in Cbus.  I didn't directly hear the nature of the Michigan rumor, but thought I would relay it anyway.

Enjoy all the premature speculation guys.

This applies to both of the previous posts.

Did I misrepresent something here?  I'm pretty sure I stated in clear terms in the thread title that it was a rumor.  Also, the first sentence of my post was a disclaimer to not bank on this as a fact.

am I really the only one who wants no part with a Buckeye? How much shit did we give Boren for leaving?

There's a difference between a verbal agreement and actually having attended the school. Personally, I wasn't upset that Boren left (although it looked pretty bad since his dad was a UM alum), I was pissed that he bashed the staff on the way out. It was unnecessary and unfounded IMO. If he would've just kept his mouth shut, I would have been more ok with the transfer. When Kalis decommitted he said he didn't want to have to deal with sanctions. I don't have a big problem with that.

If there's a chance that he could play immediately next year due to the impending sanctions at OSU, I would think there's also a chance that he might be able to attend another Big Ten school on scholarship without having to walk on.

Don't care how good he is. When you sign up for one of the schools you join that side for life. It was stupid for Tressel to accept Boren, it undermines the value of the rivalry if you can just switch sides.
