I've been wanting to see Smith's rage and violence seep down to Isaac for two seasons now. He's got the stride, the vision, and the speed to be an elite RB, but he seems to lack the agression to where he refuses to go down without dealing out punishment. I hate to call a football player soft, but it's like he doesn't have that "it" that could make him elite. Hopefully another season with Wheatley will instill that.

lol, wut. Their stats across the board are almost completely equal. With one less game played and 9 less carries Higdon has a slight edge in almost every category. While there's not a single game where Issac was our best running back there's been at least two where you could argue Higdon has been (State, Illinois).

To me this was reminiscent of the Citrus Bowl game in regards to Smith. He is so powerful he sometimes does not read the backside cut - he hit those against Florida and was seeing them again yesterday. I'll say the OL doesn't always do their part, but he was working with what he was given - then being his fearless self. Great to see! Big time players make big time plays.
