A scout writer reported that Rashan will not be taking any unofficial visits.

Rashan Gary's mother @RashanGary33 reports they will not take any unofficial visits this month. Only officials.

Your silly attempt at humor was not funny. If you want to make a sarcastic joke about Ole Miss then try doing it without attacking the character of a kid.

Yes we all think it's odd that Ole Miss went from being the Rutgers of the SEC. Then in just a few short years they are challenging some of the traditional power schools for the top recruits in the country. History shows when that occurs it wasn't without breaking a lot of rules

I think you know Steve's input. No national writers have changed their minds, Steve hasn't either. There's three Ballz for Ole Miss, two from Ole Miss writers. Read why they think so. Things like 'Ole Miss already has two top 5 recruits, there's no reason to think they can't get the number 1', and citing Gary's friendship with Greg Little. Meanwhile Gary has flat said Kareem Walker is his best friend.

1. Rashan's mom is smart enough not to allow her son get involved with bag-men who could tarnish his reputation.  

2. She knows that he will make a lot of money in the NFL 3 years from now and he could do it without the negative pub, questions about his character and a possible stain on her boy.

3. If academics are important, (which I have no doubt they are) would you allow your kid go play at a mediocre at best school over a top rated institution.because he made friends with another kid at football camp?

Honestly guys, friendships are earned. especially in the black community. He and his mom wont dummy-down their expectations because of someone he has seen probably less than 6 times his entire life. Trust me if they are really that close, they will hangout and spend millions of NFL dollars very soon.  

4. Its hard to believe his new friend at Mississippi is closer than all of the friendships and teaching and coaching and development he's had before he was the #1 player. He was recruited to Paramus by someone who helped develop him and put him in a position to be #1 and his mom trusted that person when he told her "I will make Rashan the #1 player in the country".

I'm sorry but new-comers dont get to enjoy the fruits of others hard work. thats something that is earned. He and Little will pop bottles later, for now it's about business.

So I talked directly to Rashans mom and she said his unofficial to Michigan is still undetermined (whether they will take it or not). Dont want to speculate on the issue any further than that.

You've been a board member for all of 10 days. You live in Alabama. One of your initial comments was:

"This is my first year following recruiting so I am new to this"

Yet you're upset that the rest of the board isn't taking at face value your statement that you've been "talking" to Rashan Gary's mother—who lives in New Jersey.

Great idea.. Before I post the link let me preface that this is a small part of a larger convo that I've had with Jennifer. She is actually a very sweet lady as long as you are respectful and aware of the fact that she has much more important things to do than reply to people like me; but she does so any ways, big thanks to her for that.
