Not shocking given the state of their team and university with COVID, hope for a speedy recovery for him.

As always: to hell with ND, Rudy was offsides

Notre Dame students are pissed that, in his statement about it yesterday, he said he regretted it but didn't apologize for violating the procedures he insisted everyone at the university adhere to.

The guy needs to resign; just unmitigated stupidity from a leader with an ultimate "do as I say, not as I do" fuck-up.

Look at this White House event. It wasn't just a lack of masks -- hugs, kisses, close talking, close seating.

I almost can't believe the White House, considering the mega-resources and security they have, was the location a superspreader event during a pandemic, but here we are.

Wow, this could really escalate. A complete disaster. They were already talking about this Rose Garden event on Saturday as a stupid super spreader event. Not only were there no masks, but chairs were close together and everyone was hugging. There are already 5 people at the event that tested positive and given all the hugging probably many more. Easily the source of Trump’s exposure.

This event is basically the entire Trump leadership team and power base. What are the odds that they end up with another Herman Cain?  What a potential tragedy (regarding life) that would be from such incompetent leadership.

Local news here in the South Bend area is that Notre Dame is disciplining students for gatherings as if they live on campus, even if they live off campus and gather off campus. While ND officials attend gatherings without masks and shake hands, etc etc

It's not just the hypocrisy or karma, it's that even after he got caught, he didn't apologize.

BTW, anyone read Pat Forde's column in Sports Illustrated , "Notre Dame's Leadership Is Failing Its Students"? He criticizes both the president, and Coach Kelly.

The irony of the wrath of god in the form of pestilence being wrought upon a group that espouses ceaselessly their own virtue while acting morally corrupt at every turn is just too comical.
