Tebow is actually pretty good, Spears is meh, Fienbaum or whatever his name is...he sucks. He's too shock radio for TV.

They've got decent chemistry for Day 1, but it's just too much SEC slurping for me to ever watch this seriously.

Now I know I'm not missing anything.

No... wait.... an hour pregame with Tebow and Palmer/Mussberger combo in the booth!!! SEC Network!?!?! I'm in hell!!

Ah well... quoting AC/DC - "Hell ain't a bad place to be..."  Just glad football is back.

I love college football so much.

What game socks and alternate gloves are to Wolverine Devotee...college football (any game) is to me. Such an amazing sport and level of competition.

Could easily end in the high 40's, IMO. I think SC has a VERY good offense and this speed of the TAMU offense is an equalizer no matter who is at QB.

I am excited for college football. It will be so much easier to run on the treadmill because football is on. I just can't get excited for Michigan this year. I don't have anything left after last year.

I haven't been this excited for Michigan football since 2007/2008.

This team is going to be solid and our rivals are suffering big time suspensions and injuries. I hate to bank on that...but we've got a real shot to win every game right now. That doesn't mean we will, but it was clear going into a few of these years that beating Alabama, OSU, MSU on the road, etc. was just going to be tough.

It was the same this year and then these suspensions and injuries happened.

It doesn't look like MSU is kicking things off against a slouch D1AA team. Jacksonville State put up some pretty crazy numbers last year and this season they're coming in ranked #6 in the FCS. From MLive...
Jacksonville State set a whopping 49 school records in 2013. They also set 13 Ohio Valley Conference records and three NCAA records. Needless to say, it was an historic season for the FCS school in Northeast Alabama. The Gamecocks scored 24 times on drives of less than one minute last season, amassed 6,637 yards of total offense (1,755 yards more than any team in school history) and racked up 528 points (107 more than the previous record set in 1991). JSU's 65 touchdowns were a new school record, while its school record 48 rushing touchdowns also broke the OVC mark.
I'm not going to get my hopes up too high for JSU to pull an upset, but it's pretty bizarre how similar the situation is for Sparty entering this season when compared to Michigan in 2007. Just played in Rose Bowl, highly ranked, big expectations and possibility to compete for a NC, home opener against a top tier FCS team, Oregon in week 2.

was live on every thread like SNNation sites are, it's just a much better system, I don't have to refresh to see who responded and possibly having an interesting chat with someone(s).

So which thread should we all be on?

Sorry for disrespecting your blog that way Brian, just sayin' man

Sheesh. What a let down this USCe/TAMU game has been. I was really hoping for a close game, but man, TAMU is dominating.
