Looks like a proud dad and his son after a high school game.

Thanks, Zeke!

Never cause ya know, no disrespect, but past Michigan teams would’ve lost that game.
October 12th, 2021 at 7:52 AM ^
Right, he said out loud what an awful lot of people were thinking including at least one NFL Hall of Fame member.
October 12th, 2021 at 9:27 AM ^
He did say as long as he’s been on the team, which isn’t long.
October 12th, 2021 at 12:29 AM ^
Never. Maybe Harbaugh and Luck after Stanford when they won the bowl game.
October 12th, 2021 at 12:33 AM ^
Probably when Harbaugh was the Michigan QB

This. After the '86 OSU game
October 12th, 2021 at 9:05 AM ^
I'm pretty sure that Carr and Brady were pretty happy after the 2000 Orange Bowl...

If this kid beats Northwestern and then Sparty and we’re 8-0 then everyone on this board will shut the fuck up about who the potential leader of this offense is.
Make it happen kid.

He could lead us to the playoffs and there would still be folks on here bitchin haha
October 12th, 2021 at 8:14 AM ^
Come on man, you've been here since 2009. It will 100% take a win against OSU to shut up 98% of the people on the board. The other 2% will still complain that he missed opportunities and we should have won games by more points.

Anyone that was around during Tom Brady's senior season, or John Navarre's senior Big Ten-winning season, knows that a Michigan QB can never show enough to deflect criticism.
October 12th, 2021 at 10:13 AM ^
No they won't

Last week after the WI game?
October 12th, 2021 at 1:49 AM ^
Someone please add milk-staches.
October 12th, 2021 at 7:51 AM ^
I just did a full spit take of my whole milk. That’s gold, Jerry!
October 12th, 2021 at 12:09 PM ^
Why spit up now what you can regurgitate later?
October 12th, 2021 at 1:53 AM ^
An excellent picture!

Thanks for the position post and sharing!

Pleasantly suprised so far this season. I have no problem in saying i was wrong if this team reaches the potential they have ie. beats ohio state. This season is about to get more interesting over the next 4 weeks!
October 12th, 2021 at 7:40 AM ^
So far, this season was what I was HOPING for. I am thankful and rather giddy that they have played so well.

Are you saying that the only way this season is successful is if Michigan beats an increasingly heating up Ohio State team?
October 12th, 2021 at 10:38 AM ^
They have already exceeded how I thought this season would go. I am going to enjoy the ride the rest of the way

A bye week, followed by a NW game is a perfect time to appreciate stuff like this. Screw the angst. It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
October 12th, 2021 at 8:45 AM ^
These two seem happy, too, in a different way.
October 12th, 2021 at 8:45 AM ^
This is very much how I looked once that game was over.....
October 12th, 2021 at 8:54 AM ^
Best case scenario is McNamara continues to improve and remains the starter through next year. This way we have two capable QBs and we build a consistent pipeline that other strong programs have. Bama isn't just tossing out freshman QBs every year.

Jim was fired up after that game in a way that I've NEVER seen while he's been at Michigan.
I liked it.

Last time I remember was mid 2016 when he proclaimed Wilton Speight a dark horse Heisman candidate in a post game press conference. (Wasn’t that after thumping PSU who was missing like all of their meaningful starters on D due to injury?)
